I mean, depending on the situation, and this is much harder for neurodivergents, that's not the worst advice.

Chances are you're making a much bigger deal about the situation than it realistically is. The consequences for failing to meet expectations are probably not as bad as you're imagining. Taking a step back to look at the situation holistically can sometimes break you out of the spiral
