Uh huh, so there will be consequences this time, right? Because no matter what, this person won't get that job back.

I take it that the responsible for this law breaking will land behind bars for at least a few months for this, right?

Right?

Or is it just going to be another "tsk" and pay a small fine to the government and the employee can just go fuck themselves?

That's a tough one. No idea how many cards they had signed before the termination. If it was close they should have awarded the remedial cert. $2000 does seem like the cost of doing business to keep CLAC as the bargaining agent. The fact that they've had multiple raids should not sit well with the current union.
