For some reason back during the mid to late 2010s Peterson types tried to make milk manly and cool again. I guess it was to make fun of soy, the misconception being that soy is 'feminizing' or some other superstition that's long been disproven

whats weird about that is at least 25% of chinese are lactose tolerant. its just that gene is more prevalent in certain (usually northern latitude) populations. in general the higher latitude you get the more people relied on animal milk and heavy meat diets which led to different genetic adaptations. lactose intolerance would lead to you getting dehydrated which is a significant downside in a high latitude when you have very few options for food in the cold months.
