This letter was written immediately before his suicide, and acknowledges his plan to do it. That makes this a deathbed confession, and they should hang Trump with it.

[–] fodor@lemmy.zip 25 points 23 hours ago

The article is overstating the importance. By now everyone knows Trump is a pedo and loves SA. Or if they don't, they never will.

FFS the victims have been around for twenty years, and we already have clear physical evidence. One more piece of paper might help with a conviction (good luck getting that after he's out of the White House before he dies), but it's not like the truth is even slightly hidden.

And he admitted to so much bad stuff already, on camera, on TV, in writing, too. Forget the victims if you want (which you shouldn't, but whatever), just take the man at his word and it's all there.

So far while poking around in certain places just to see what other reactions are floating around out there are, I've seen:

"Who created this AI slop?"

"Written by someone from MSM for clicks."

"Why didn't Biden release this, clearly fake."

"This is worse than the fake birthday card."

"Clearly not related to Trump, but instead Clinton."

Intense cope is how I see it. Could it be fake? Maybe. I try to draw upon the things that have been said in the past, actions clearly on record/tape, literal confessions that are public from years ago, real-time goal post moving, and delection attempts.

Innocent people don't usually jump through so many hoops.

"Why didn't Biden release this, clearly fake."

Apparently, this was first released in 2023, during the Biden administration, and just sat there. Perhaps the media deserves some blame for not doing their jobs, as usual.

“Who created this AI slop?”

Ah, yes, clearly AI handwriting

[–] Guitarfun@lemmy.world 7 points 20 hours ago* (last edited 19 hours ago)

They constantly repeat shit without really understanding it, a lot like parrots. They obviously don't know how to actually identify AI slop.

"young, nubile, girls" jfc throw these creeps in a volcano

[–] floofloof@lemmy.ca 56 points 1 day ago

Best we can do is keep making them President.

[–] kelpie_returns@lemmy.world 27 points 1 day ago (3 children)

Volcanoes offer a very quick death. Your lungs calcificy rapidly during your descent, meaning if the drop doesn't kill you (heart attack/shock), youre still dying quickly and relatively painlessly (as this all happens in a matter of seconds). If you get past that point, the magma itself will basically disintegrate your ability to feel on contact.

So it's almost a reward compared to slower methods, you could say. Not making a point. Just sharing some info.

[–] vaultdweller013@sh.itjust.works 7 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I propose Blót. Hanged speared then we feast, but not on the corpse that's for Odin.

[–] kelpie_returns@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Thoroughly macabre. I love it!

How is Blót pronounced? Haven't come across this term before

[–] vaultdweller013@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

It's a pretty old term so it technically has three different pronunciations bloot like blood, blot like to to blot out the sun, and blut like blunt without the n. Though you'd have to ask someone who is a bit more familiar with medieval Germanic languages.

[–] kelpie_returns@lemmy.world 2 points 23 hours ago (1 children)

Very interesting. I'll have to look more into this when I have the time. Thanks for sharing what you know!

[–] vaultdweller013@sh.itjust.works 2 points 21 hours ago

Cant remember the name of the particular story but there's actually a myth centered around a Blót where basically a war chief is destined by the Norns to be sacrificed. They try to trick the gods and it goes bad for him.

[–] ChicoSuave@lemmy.world 23 points 1 day ago (1 children)

What about a Temple of Doom cage style rotisserie?

[–] kayzeekayzee@lemmy.blahaj.zone 9 points 1 day ago (1 children)

It makes the volcano spirits super happy though

[–] kelpie_returns@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago

Fair and valid

[–] snooggums@piefed.world 35 points 1 day ago (1 children)

So the same 'grab them by the pussy' that Trump was caught on tape bragging about, but more clear who is was talking about.

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 4 points 21 hours ago

Yeah, this only reinforces Trump's own admission. The "grab'em by the pussy" comment seemed like immature hyperbole, but with this letter, now it seems like grabbing a woman's crotch is his signature move.

[–] PattyMcB@lemmy.world 44 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Like I said yesterday: "once it's on the internet, it's there forever"

[–] floofloof@lemmy.ca 42 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (3 children)

It's remarkable how quickly the pages that publish things like this or the 60 Minutes CECOT segment disappear. Putting it on the fediverse will hopefully protect it from being suppressed. Torrents are important too.

[–] PattyMcB@lemmy.world 29 points 1 day ago (1 children)

It's all over the place, now. My lemmy feed is full of news stories about it.

[–] VieuxQueb@lemmy.ca 15 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Most of my coworkers have not even heard about it. Even less looked for it. It may be everywhere on lemmy but lemmy is very little known in the real world.

[–] fishos@lemmy.world 14 points 1 day ago (1 children)

It's on Reddit and other places too. Your coworkers haven't heard of it yet because it dropped in the middle of the night. Stop expecting everyone else to be as terminally online as yourself.

This letter came to light in 2023. They've managed to keep it quiet for 2 years.

Now it's time to blow this up. This should be the first story on every evening newscast to tonight.

But it won't be, especially CBS. I'd be surprised if it even gets mentioned anywhere on TV.

[–] thermal_shock@lemmy.world 14 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Cecot torrent is seeded and I have it on soulseek.

[–] madjo@piefed.social 8 points 1 day ago (1 children)

TIL that SoulSeek still exists.

[–] thermal_shock@lemmy.world 9 points 1 day ago

Hell yeah it does

[–] supamanc@lemmy.world 9 points 1 day ago (1 children)

My guess is a 'turncoat' in the DoJ 'accidentally' let this one, and other similar ones, slip through. Or they're all just fucking incompetent. Take your pick.

[–] Captainvaqina@sh.itjust.works 7 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Ironically being the only one who isn't an actual traitor to the United States.

Does "short route" home here mean suicide or blackmail? God this shit never clarifies anything but it definitely incriminates Trump.

[–] friend_of_satan@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago (2 children)

I took it to mean suicide. I can't imagine what else it would mean.

"As you know by now, I have taken the ‘short route’ home. Good luck! We shared one thing… our love & caring for young ladies at the hope they'd reach their full potential

Our president shares our love of young, nubile girls. When a young beauty walked by he loved to ‘grab snatch' whereas we ended up snatching grub in the mess halls of the system. Life is unfair. Yours, J. Epstein"

[–] thebeardedpotato@lemmy.world 89 points 1 day ago (12 children)

I will never understand how people could be this rich and do stupid shit like this.

With all that money, you could go find the love of your life, travel the world with them, pay for all the mental and healthcare you need, be fit and live the rest of your life happily with your soulmate AND still even have the capacity to help others if you so desire.

But instead they do this shit. I hate reality.

[–] agamemnonymous@sh.itjust.works 9 points 23 hours ago

You can become a multi-millionaire through honest hard work and responsibility. There are plenty of multi-millionaires who live the lifestyle you describe.

You can't really become a billionaire that way. You become a billionaire by being a greedy, manipulative narcissist, obsessed with wealth and power. That's who you see doing this shit.

Pretty sure you described Tom form Myspace, dude got his money and GTFOd.

[–] AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor@sh.itjust.works 87 points 1 day ago (1 children)

We live in a system where, to become that rich, you must be evil.

That's all.

[–] Asafum@feddit.nl 25 points 1 day ago

Exactly. This life rewards evil tremendously... I'm so sick of it

[–] frongt@lemmy.zip 22 points 1 day ago

Money is just an enabler. They're already abusers, the money just helps them do it with planes and islands instead of trucks and sketchy motels.

[–] aesviation@lemmings.world 11 points 1 day ago

They didn't get rich by being good people.

It's another reason why we should always criticize people for how they obtained their wealth. Most of them did it by nefarious means.

[–] floofloof@lemmy.ca 11 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

The people with all that money are the people so narrowly obsessed with money and/or the power money brings that they have dedicated their whole lives to taking it from others. Effectively that means only sociopaths who enjoy abusing others become that wealthy. People with more meaningful purpose in their lives, or who genuinely care for others, don't become billionaires.

This article implies he was writing incriminating letters from jail, prior to choosing to kill himself. And there's never a hint of self-awareness at the atrocious pain and harm he caused, just a constant entitlement to all women.

[–] floofloof@lemmy.ca 41 points 1 day ago (3 children)

Assuming it's genuine, it also shows he considered himself a victim of unfair treatment right to the end. Unless it's also a hint that the suicide was not of his own choosing, but that's getting pretty speculative.

[–] Asafum@feddit.nl 39 points 1 day ago

It definitely reads like "we did the same things, but I'm here in prison and that guy is president. Boo hoo pity me."
