Housing first is a fairly well known solution that is proven to work. Unfortunately, the commodification of housing has, of course, rewarded the wealthy and made it nearly impossible for those with little means to have safe, consistent shelter.

MODERATORS
I am once again ashamed at living in BC and being in proximity to Global News. What a terribly written article and piece of "journalism." There's not a single argument or connection on how or why the "research" was relevant to the decriminalization program OR the end of said program. Tons of claims everywhere but not a single bit of evidence or info for us to possibly connect them.
I dislike that my partner has it on in the morning but they are the only channel that has a streaming morning show on the Roku that is BC based unless things have changed recently.
If anyone has a streamed show that shows local news and weather for BC let me know and I'll see if she likes it.
They are consistently bad at reporting and lean so obviously towards the conservative approach.
I reread it 3 times trying to make sense of it and lost the battle. I gotta wonder if AI was used to write this as no respectable journalist or editor would let this crap be published.
