I actually didn't even realize that piefed was supported, but I see some of you posting on here are on those instances.

I've been curious to try piefed, but haven't felt like switching app yet so just curious.

works well!

it doesn't group all the crossposts together i don't think, though.

testing a new piefed instance now!

That's too bad, I hope boost supports that eventually.

I haven't noticed any difference between Piefed and other instances.

Gotcha, so it sounds like it may not support the piefed specific features then.

Yeah, I just logged in with my piefed.social account, and then can switch in the hamburger menu. No functional differences that I can see.

Hopefully it'll get fully supported eventually! Appreciate the insight.

I havent created an account with PieFed mainly because of this. I want to do it when Boost is ready to fully support it. Having said that, like the OP, I'm curious where Rubรฉn is with things. If others are actively using Boost, perhaps it's time I give it a go.

I'm noticing that I can't see all replies for some reason. I have a lemmy.world account and things seem fine there. But on this one, a post would show 200 comments and I can only see 15 (as an example)

Is that maybe just a defederation thing? World defeds some pretty large instances I've heard.
