You keep saying that word, Exonerated?

I don't think that word means what you think it means.

[–] floquant@lemmy.dbzer0.com 19 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Can someone please explain why every news article is treating the files as "accusations" instead of evidence?

[–] hector@lemmy.today 2 points 1 day ago

Lawsuits for one reason. People being mean to them for another. They all stress than being mentioned 38k times in the epstein files is no indication of wrongdoing and does not mean someone fucked children with epstein, and is now compromised by Israeli intelligence and who knows whom else by now.

It does though, and we all know it does, mean they are guilty of that.

[–] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 day ago

Way past accusations.

[–] Smoogs@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago

Well if anyone needed undeniable evidence that trump will lie…

[–] The_Almighty_Walrus@lemmy.world 61 points 1 day ago (3 children)

Trump and Epstein have more photos together than me and my own father.

Trump's name is in the Epstein files more times than God's name is in the BIBLE

[–] zebidiah@lemmy.ca 16 points 1 day ago

Trump's name is mentioned more often than Harry Potter's name in the Harry Potter books....

[–] Weirdfish@lemmy.world 11 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Sad that I've just realized this is also true for me.

[–] daychilde@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Oh? Anything you want to tell us?

<tease, tease>

[–] hector@lemmy.today 2 points 1 day ago

You missed an opportunity to lead off that comment with "found Jesus' alt account."

[–] Weirdfish@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago (3 children)

I clicked wrong post, I meant I don't have many pics of my father and I.

The gods name in the Bible is kind of a bad stat comparison. The Bible is nowhere near 3m pages

Would be more interested in occurrences per page for this to be effective.

Haha.. he had everything to do with Epstein. He WAS epstein. Epstein was Trump. Trumpstein. Release ALL the UNREDACTED TRUMPSTEIN files.

This fucking idiot pedophile rapist is going to get away with this shit by dieing before ever seeing consequences for his dirty disgusting actions. I fucking hate this piece of shit so much.

Congressman Moskowitz said so eloquently that Trump's stupid fucking name appears more time in Epstein files than Harry Potters name in all of Harry Potters books combined...

Edit: and for anyone that watched that hearing deposition of Bondi (burn book) recently, when Moskowitz said that he had a stack of Harry Potter books on his desk with the labels out facing and one title predominantly displayed "The Chamber of Secrets"

Absolutely brilliant. These hearings keep making bondi look more and more stupid, not that she needed any help.

[–] fonix232@fedia.io 43 points 2 days ago (1 children)

This is the one case where I'd say fuck the "the parent's crimes aren't the responsibility of their children" and confiscate all the ill-earned money these fucks hoarded to compensate the victims.

I don't give a fuck if Ivanka goes destitute, if Don Jr can't fuel his coke habit, and so on, they were part of his crime organisation, they helped the orange twat cover up his child raping and murdering, they can pay for it too.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 21 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Who cares if his idiot offspring don't get unearned wealth by inheriting his ill-gotten gains.

Actually, I care. I don't want them to get a fucking cent.

[–] Soulphite@reddthat.com 10 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I want them to rot in prison. Apples falling and such. Just go agead mitigate future problems.

[–] hector@lemmy.today 1 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Seeing as I don't trust corrupt justice officials wouldn't let them off the hook later, I feel that if justice were to be served with due process in accordance to law, it should take a final unappealable route.

[–] Etterra@discuss.online 3 points 1 day ago

That photo on the right looks like they're about to kiss. Just sayin.

[–] mycodesucks@lemmy.world 36 points 1 day ago

It's easy to forget because it seems like 1000 years ago, but he ALSO said the Mueller report totally exonerated him, when basically the entire report was a wide-eyed old man going "HE IS ABSOLUTELY OWNED BY RUSSIA BUT I DON'T HAVE THE ABILITY TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT" and Congress just going "Well, I guess he's exonerated."

[–] HumanOnEarth@lemmy.ca 54 points 2 days ago (1 children)

"Toddler with cookie crumbs all over face, hands, chest, legs, wearing a shirt that says "I steal cookies", who has cookie breath, claims complete exoneration regarding cookie theft."

[–] WizardofFrobozz@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 day ago

And the adults in the room fail to enact consequences. Why wouldn’t he?

They are both lifelong blackmailers is the wonderful secret.

[–] MehBlah@lemmy.world 17 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Think of how many times trump has uttered a lie and watched as it was believed. Now he is lying more and more and the questions wont keep coming. I bet he really thinks all of us are evil and he is justified for what he has done. In his mind he is the only decent person in existence.

People who treat the law as a suggestion often think everyone else thinks the same way. I'm sure that to him, everyone is doing illegal things - and considering the company he keeps, that belief makes sense. Everyone he knows lies, so he fits right in. Following laws, telling the truth, being a decent human being, to him these may well just be façades that people put up, but that nobody actually holds themselves to. That's the world he's always known. Full and true moral bankruptcy.

[–] daychilde@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago (3 children)

Think of how often Trump has told the truth.

…I can't think of any times, either.

[–] hector@lemmy.today 3 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

How about that AI slop he posted where he was a bomber pilot, and he flew above Americans and dropped wet fresh shit on them from a great height?

Really that was the most honest thing he's published, dropping shit on Americans from on high. He just did it again with this post in a way.

[–] regedit@lemmy.zip 4 points 1 day ago

He tells the truth all the time, though. Every accusation by tRump is an admittance of what he has or intends to do.

[–] MehBlah@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

When he talks about hate and revenge its the truth.

[–] some_kind_of_guy@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

When he pulls aside an aide and tells them he needs a new diaper, that is the truth

[–] MehBlah@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

Trump just pretends he didn't shit himself. Thats his truth.

[–] kmartburrito@lemmy.world 21 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Totally exonerated folks! There's literally no evidence linking me to that man!

[–] criss_cross@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago (1 children)

The AI makes him look healthier than he really is.

[–] kmartburrito@lemmy.world 9 points 1 day ago (3 children)

Oh yeah, 100% agree. I saw an article yesterday where he was meeting with someone at maralardo and he looks like absolute dogshit. Found it -

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 2 points 2 hours ago

He even looks bad compared to a rotten lettuce.

[–] hector@lemmy.today 2 points 1 day ago

He's lost it mentally too. Falling asleep at televised meetings, seemingly cut off from his amphetamines by his doctors, that gave him that pep the first term, and improve cognitive function.

He is betraying is America First promises and all of those supporters from that that supported him and not the party, being led around by the hand by his 2025 handlers betraying them, and his legacy. He is a shell of a man, running on autodick as the Party calls the shots, tells him when to bark. Facepalms when he goes off script like when they left him alone with Mamdami, the enemy of the party, or Petro of Colombia, that they want to overthrow, and he's bff's with them after 20 minutes.

He's gone mentally.

This shitbag needs to be "totally incarcerated!"

[–] daychilde@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Misread as "incinerated". Prefer my misreading.

[–] regedit@lemmy.zip 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Dangle him, the authors of Project 2025, and the ultra wealthy above a massive vat of acid from a chain and slowly drop it a few cm a second into the acid. Everyone up the chain gets to hear the agonizing cries of the ones before them being slowly dissolved alive.

Great, now I'm erect...

[–] daychilde@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago (2 children)

I've upvoted you, but it worries me that one might lose that much humanity. Fascists are our enemies, but I don't wish torture on any human. Punish them - take their freedom away permanently, or even execute them if society agrees the death penalty should exist and apply. But causing harm to people only truly harms the people doing the torture.

[–] regedit@lemmy.zip 2 points 8 hours ago

I agree with your assessment and concern. Thank you for both! I have always had a strong sense of justice and morality. But I also love redemption stories. I believe in forgiveness, but only for those who demonstrate remorse, including MAGA and fascists. I know people can change, not just pretend to be better. My chief complaint about the ultra wealthy is that they could have enough to have the life they do without killing the planet and bleeding everyone dry, but they actively choose not to. There is a fundamental flaw in their brain and no amount will ever be enough for them.

I don't blame a tick or flea for existing. They didn't ask to need the blood of others to survive. But most parasites only take enough to perpetuate their species and then move on. Greed has no limit, proven time and again across history. My beef is that they could have their blood and move on, but that isn't enough. There is no enough with these people. We didn't need to live like this, but their endless greed makes the world a shittier place.

As far as I'm concerned we tried to keep the balance through the levers of govt. and policy. They (those who think like the authors of Project 2025) came along and smashed the system to pieces. We have very little recourse, as such, to enact change going forward that won't include their removal from society. They own our police, our media, our politicians, our food sources, and our courts. Now, using what they've hoarded, they have destroyed the government systems that provide for anyone but them and told the rest of us to eat shit and die.

I was naive, before. I'm aware, now.

Yeah, 5000+ mentions of his name in the TFFJE (Trump Files Featuring Jeffry Epstein) all are just Epstein and associates saying "Who? Never heard of him".

[–] Stormy@thelemmy.club 10 points 2 days ago

It's 38,000 in the public available files and, over a million in the unredacted.

[–] beelzebum@lemmy.world 10 points 2 days ago

A++++++++++++++!

[–] Asmodeus_Krang 5 points 1 day ago

Donvict is mixing up exonerated with implicated.
