Also I love how MHJ got shutdown bad against NDs defense just like Williams but totally gets a pass on it.

Caleb Williams should be a 2nd round draft pick at best. Dude is barely a top 3 QB in the PAC 12, can't move the ball against a good defense, can't beat Utah...
I feel like anyone still believing he's a stud prospect hasn't been paying attention.
Or we could trade a second to CINC for Higgins. Then take QB and LT in the top 10

caleb is not an improvement. ill ride with Fields for his 4th year on his rookie deal and see what happens. i guess if he reallllly just cant run the offense right or whatever people are saying, well, let’s just do the 1200yd rushing Fields and live with the 30pts/game

Idk man, we need a QB desperately. Having great WRs with no QB throwing the ball isnt a recipe for success.
Idk if Caleb Williams is the guy necessarily, but the pick at #1 has to be a QB. By all means, Id love MHJ, but QB takes priority.
Stop expecting a Peyton Manning. We have the picks to not need a Manning. Keep building the team around Justin. Yes, you can hedge for a QB in the draft for a Purdy type in Hartman.

We didnt draft Cutler, and he has been the best Qb we have had since probablyLuckman.

Adding MHJ and a LT is just going to help Fields grow even more. Fields has the big playmaker trait. You do not give up on that early. I judge a QB by his ability to make big plays. It's very hard to find a QB that can make big plays the way Fields can.
He can play like crap all game, but has the ability to break out of nowhere to make huge plays that erases his prior bad play.
Keep him. Keep adding weapons and OL talent. It will pay off in the long run.
I'll judge Fields by his first three games after this injury. So far this season, he has regressed in so many ways that I have almost given up on him.
