I've beat this drum before and I'll keep on beating it.

The US government spends nearly $3T per year on healthcare. We spend more per person than Canada. There's no reason that spending couldn't be made to cover everyone in the US.

As someone from a Catholic background, I always thought it was funny that some protestants claimed to be more Christian than the pope. It's always weird to see angry "Christian" Americans complain and bitch when the pope just reminds them about Christianity.

US protestants would probably torture and deport Jesus.

Yes please! I'd love for them to no longer be able to hide behind religion for thestupid things they support.

Because now when a politician says "god told me to starve the poors, and shun the homeless", I'd love for the pope to say "NO HE DIDN'T!"
