If the Radical Left Democrats don’t immediately sign an agreement to let our Country, in particular, our Airports, be FREE and SAFE again, I will move our brilliant and patriotic ICE Agents to the Airports where they will do Security like no one has ever seen before, including the immediate arrest of all Illegal Immigrants who have come into our Country, with heavy emphasis on those from Somalia, who have totally destroyed, with the approval of a corrupt Governor, Attorney General, and Congresswoman, Ilhan Omar, the once Great State of Minnesota. I look forward to seeing ICE in action at our Airports. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! President DONALD J. TRUMP

Coming soon to an airport near you in the “land of the free”

[–] FreshParsnip@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 day ago

So they can harass and arrest any brown people and trans looking people who dare travel by plane. And Trump supporters will continue to bend over backwards to deny it's happening

Please. Just. Fucking. Die.

[–] MnemonicBump@lemmy.dbzer0.com 8 points 2 days ago (7 children)

People say this, and it definitely feels good to say, but what exactly do you think will happen if he dies?

[–] Bahnd@lemmy.world 27 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Wishful thinking, a messy internal power struggle as Vance is not the cult of personality. Things do not improve but the wild tactless nonsense stops for a brief moment as we await the midterms.

[–] grimpy@lemmy.myserv.one 8 points 2 days ago

GOP will regress on, as ever

[–] dizzle18@lemmy.zip 14 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I get a good laugh. And Vance becomes president, and because he has all the charisma of a generic can of tomato soup, MAGA officially collapses on itself, and then we get free entertainment watching a bunch of red-hatted apes fling shit at each other.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 7 points 2 days ago

I imagine those red hats will be about as popular as W stickers were c. 2008. Even now, you sometimes see stories where someone is burning their ~~Nazi uniform~~ John Barron gear.

I bet there will be a sudden influx of "independents", too.

Vance becomes President, the Epstein Files are completely forgotten, a few more bombs are dropped in Iran before the war exits the media completely, lots of "It's time to move on" from the Dems, various Trumpers try to become a successor.

[–] cowfodder@lemmy.world 10 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Trump said it himself the other day. I'm paraphrasing a little bit because I don't feel like finding the exact quote, but when talking about Republicans that don't support this war against Iran he said something like "They're not maga, I am."

Historically speaking the cult of personality disappears once the leader dies. Nobody likes Vance and nobody is afraid of him. Yes, he's going to be bad, but not nearly as bad as what we have.

[–] Arcadeep@lemmy.world 9 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Vance is coherent and entirely Thiel's little bitch piggy. If he ends up getting the same amount of mindless knob slobbing Trump gets, I think it'll much worse. Hopefully since nobody likes him he won't be able to do the damage Thiel wants him to do

[–] chaogomu@lemmy.world 6 points 2 days ago

The only reason why Trump allowed Vance to be his VP is that Trump doesn't view Vance as a threat. Because he isn't.

At least not to Trump. Vance can and will do a fuckload of damage, but he's far too easy to mock, even for moderate Republicans.

The only thing that interests me about Trump is the coroner's report. It'll be the only thing concerning him based in fact.

[–] dizzle18@lemmy.zip 6 points 2 days ago

No, they’ll probably come out with a coroners report that says he died fighting off 1,000 illegal immigrants from Somalia, led by Ilhan Omar. That’ll be accompanied by some shitty AI picture of Trump with rippling abs, wielding two rifles and a prominent cock bulge. When in reality, he’ll have died on the toilet, choking on a Big Mac he was eating while taking a shit.

[–] HazardousBanjo@lemmy.world 15 points 2 days ago (1 children)

So truly destroy the flight industry then.

Cool.

I wonder if the billionaire CEOs of the major air companies are begging him to not.

[–] reddig33@lemmy.world 7 points 2 days ago

I am sure they are weighing whether it’s cheaper to continue to let the government run it, or to go back to simply privatizing airport security again and paying for it themselves.

[–] sbbq@lemmy.zip 14 points 2 days ago (3 children)

Do the MAGA rubes ever wonder when we're ever going to achieve great again status?

[–] assembly@lemmy.world 10 points 2 days ago

Right after they finishing focusing on their, “no new foreign wars” campaign promise.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 5 points 2 days ago

Were some liberals shot and some brown people deported in the worst way possible?

That's more than enough for the worst of them to jerk off to, so they think it's "great" already.

[–] Rocketpoweredgorilla@lemmy.ca 4 points 2 days ago

It already is great again... for the rich.

[–] AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor@piefed.social 12 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Do it, you coward fuck! Do it! I want to see the first international crisis when those assholes shoot a vip from another country just because they felt like it.

[–] FreshParsnip@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 day ago

If it'll get the international community to act against this madness, hurrah

Trump just posted a follow-up:

The Radical Left Democrats have hurt so many people with their vicious and uncaring ways. What they have done to the Department of Homeland Security, our fantastic TSA Officers, and, most importantly, the great people of our Country, is an absolute disgrace. If the Democrats do not allow for Just and Proper Security at our Airports, and elsewhere throughout our Country, ICE will do the job far better than ever done before! The Fascist Democrats will never protect America, but the Republicans will. Just like the Radical Left allowed millions of Criminals to pour into our Country through their ridiculous and dangerous Open Border Policy, the Republicans closed it all down, and we now have the Strongest Border in American History. Likewise, I look forward to moving ICE in on Monday, and have already told them to, “GET READY.” NO MORE WAITING, NO MORE GAMES! President DONALD J. TRUMP

Well on the plus side, they are so bogged down with infighting they forgot about us. Praise be to God!

[–] cravl@slrpnk.net 6 points 2 days ago

"The Fascist Democrats" has got to be the clearest, most absolutely textbook example of projection I've seen yet.

[–] Warl0k3@lemmy.world 7 points 2 days ago (1 children)

22,000 ICE agents 55,000 TSA agents yeah let's see how this goes. Fucking idiot...

[–] NekoKoneko@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

"Well, guess we have to hire 33,000 more ICE agents!"

They've been trying to hire more agents for awhile now. Funny thing is the contract is so shit they seem to have maxed out, also the reputation hit and risk of public humiliation is probably a notable downside.

[–] theparadox@lemmy.world 6 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

Maybe they'll manhandle a few rich fucks that happen to be brown and Congress will suddenly care.

[–] Ghostie@lemmy.zip 4 points 2 days ago

Because that’ll definitely speed up airports. Fucking dumbass.
