AI really doesn't understand anything. You could sneeze in the general direction of that thing and it would tip over.

[–] casmael@lemm.ee 17 points 2 years ago

That’s because it’s not intelligent, it’s just artificial

[–] cm0002@lemmy.world 15 points 2 years ago (5 children)

You say that like humans don't have a long list of "inventions"/designs that totally wouldn't/didn't work but built it anyways lmao

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 6 points 2 years ago

I feel personally attacked

Ai understands perfectly what I want. It also understands it doesn’t have to be real

[–] wreckedcarzz@lemmy.world 5 points 2 years ago

[–] comrade19@lemmy.world 11 points 2 years ago

[–] creditCrazy@lemmy.world 7 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Now I'm torn on what's better soldiers to the gallon or gallons to the mile

Where's the goddamn water slide?

That's only in the deluxe package. But if you ask me, those deluxe package buyers are a bunch of casual campers.

[–] SubArcticTundra@lemmy.ml 8 points 2 years ago

I am positive that roof is supporting a jacuzzi

[–] SkyNTP@lemmy.ca 34 points 2 years ago (3 children)

Considering that this thing won't fit under any overpasses, the furthest you are going camping is your backyard.

[–] sizzler@lemmy.world 22 points 2 years ago (1 children)

That's it in expanded camping mode, it all folds back down to the size of a 1979 vw split window camper.

Don't worry, the overpasses have also been redesigned by AI.

This is the kind of thing you'd see in the wasteland of some Dying Earth science-fantasy, a ruined curiosity left by some dead hubristic civilization

[–] BeigeAgenda@lemmy.ca 25 points 2 years ago

Did Clarence Thomas get donated a new RV, what does his handles need him to vote on now?

[–] x4740N@lemmy.world 24 points 2 years ago (2 children)

I don't beleive this thing actually exists

[–] chetradley@lemm.ee 58 points 2 years ago (4 children)

Definitely an AI image. The reflections are off, the side mirror is floating, the panels all look weird and the railing is doubled up.

[–] Krauerking@lemy.lol 16 points 2 years ago (2 children)

You know what? When it comes to cars I can always tell AI by the wheels. Like they are too smooth and always have weird wing nuts or empty voids of spaces. It's at a glance the wheels were wrong with this one too.
And then your comment pointed out a lot more obvious things. Wooh just a look around this thing is wild.

[–] StupidBrotherInLaw@lemmy.world 10 points 2 years ago

A lot of AI images remind me of fever dreams and that's very much the case for this image.

“Get ready, everyone; we’re going camping!”

Gets stuck on first speed bump and flips over

[–] disheveledWallaby@lemmy.ml 7 points 2 years ago

Underpasses and some bridges would be a problem too.

And you just know that this is the family that will make your own camping trip hell if you end up beside them.

[–] intensely_human@lemm.ee 9 points 2 years ago

This vehicle makes me want to wander around a completely paved planet, or possibly one with a naturally-occurring super flat surface

[–] doingthestuff@lemmy.world 7 points 2 years ago (1 children)

As someone wilderness camping below freezing on two separate trips this week -one in a hammock at the great lakes and another in a tent a little farther inland, I don't even know what I'm looking at.

Somewhere a camper company executive is seeing this monstrosity and creaming their jeans.

This might persuade my wife to go camping with me. But it's far from guaranteed.

[–] tygerprints@kbin.social 6 points 2 years ago (2 children)

That's my kinda camping - driving a mobile mansion into the not too deep woods, hopefully near a mall. I love that.

Nature ain't got nothing on human ingenuity.

it always seemed to storm whenever we went camping when i was a kid, and that's what all the campers looked like when you're stuck in a little tent during one.
