If Fields did a better job then Montez wouldn’t have to get sacks.

/s he definitely made a difference today

You're acting like Fields gets blamed for everything, when in reality we make every excuse in the world for him.

Half the sub wakes up and blames Fields if they stub their toe.

He is not a $100M player. Celebrating one sack in a demoralizing loss in which the defense was embarrassed in the last 4 minutes is some pathetic soccer mom behavior.

I guess people don’t like to read the truth lol Sweat is a good player but he’s not an upper echelon edge rusher like we paid him to be. But also, in order to get a player like that in free agency, you’re going to need to overpay

Redditors always try to think they're the smartest guy in the room, and it is so hilarious to read every time.

Shit loads of positives today, just the same constant negatives - Incompetence at the highest and most important levels of the Org... Ownership and Coaching.

[–] Foxstarry@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Ownership can redeem themselves by stepping in and firing flus. They won’t do it, but if they did I’d hate them maybe 1% less.

[–] Nervous-Awareness482@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Nah. They know how to fire people usually too late. Their issue is hiring.

Just gonna be another Mr. Rogers with less weight in their sack

[–] PitchBlac@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

On a negative note, why the fuck was he on the sidelines for third downs?! What are we doing?

[–] sentinal29@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

“That’s Montez”

[–] TheMetabrandMan@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

We put a lot of pressure on Goff last night. All those people who were saying improving our pass rush will also improve the secondary and being proven right.

I mean he has the Union Jack flair…..

[–] ferociouskuma@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I’m happy too, but nobody blocked him on that play. He is supposed to get that one.

[–] Apotheosis69420@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

He seemed pretty pleased about it too. I was worried he wouldn’t care about it and would apathetically hit free agency after not immediately signing an extension with us. He had all the bargaining power, after all.

He seems like an overall good dude that loves the sport and always gives 100% effort. I’m happy with that trade and I really see this guy as a cornerstone of our D-Line.

[–] vladtheinhaler0@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

It was good to see for sure. This was a good signing. I think you can see a very positive effect he has had on pressures. The D line is starting to be able to get some pressures and we saw the turnovers that can be generated from it today.

Only played 63% of defensive snaps which wasn't that many. WTF?
