Had to scroll way too far for this. I think this sub is so afraid of being let down again the safe and solid pick his beginning to infect the idea that MHJ is somehow the answer.

This hurts. Because it’s true. Most fans think MHJ will change the offense and make Fields an all pro.

If he doesn’t come out, which I can’t imagine, the Bears sub would meltdown. Half of the fans are “MHJ or Bust!” Mentality right now. They’re so high on MHJ they’ve compeletely resold themselves on Justin being a Franchise Level QB

If he didn’t opt in about half of the Bears sub would be ready to end it. The hopium for MHJ is insane

I want to live in a world where I can say we have a franchise quarterback

This is grasping at straws because it’s too hard to admit we’re bad and there’s so many variables it’s actually somewhat impossible as a fan to be clear on the order of operations.

The only thing I’m truly clear on is that the coaching staff and ownership needs to change before I have long term hope in this becoming a legit franchise.
