Poles needs to commit these names to memory like Arya Stark and recite them back to himself if the thought of keeping this coaching staff for one more season ever crosses his mind.

So if the Bears beat Kyler Murray or Goff will you be happy.

[–] DaBears6452@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Poles isn’t going to care. He’s gone with Flus.

[–] LegalComplaint@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

You’re forgetting Aaron Rodgers. This defense is so elite he fled the division.

[–] artevandelay55@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Why does Fields' defense always allow so many points to good opposing QBs?

[–] TheloniousMonk15@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

You are getting down voted but this is a true point lol.

Allowed lots of points to following goodQBs the last two seasons: Cousins, Dak, Goff, Tua, Rodgers, Mahomes, and Russell Wilson. I am sure I am forgetting some.

Did Fields ball out all those games? No but some of those games I remember the Bears offense putting a lot of points up.

Were the Bears the only team to beat those guys? Were they a collective 0-112 before losing to Flus?

[–] MiddleNameIsJoe@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Well, the list of QBs he's won with is equally bad

[–] ChiBearsForDaWin@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (3 children)

Respect. A true murderers row of QB2's.

[–] Lobanium@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

QB2's what?

[–] Kriegerian@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago
[–] okay_throwaway_today@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Sam Howell technically leads the league in passing yards. And he doesn’t even get to play against Washington’s defense

[–] troutpoop@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I mean Howell is probably the best QB out of that list, which says way more about the bears than it does Howell, who’s been solid

[–] BuffaloBrain884@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (3 children)

This is also a list of QBs that Justin Fields has won games against.

[–] ElectrosMilkshake@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The only QBs you add to the list by including 2021 are Goff and Carr. (And I guess Burrow but Fields didn’t start that game) Yikes.

[–] Pisthetairos@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Minus Hoyer and Young.

[–] Dangerous-Cheetah-55@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

2 of those wins were Bagent.

[–] nstickels@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Mac Jones was the starter against the Patriots and therefore credited with the loss. Could be argued Zappe was better than him, and it doesn’t really add much, but if you want to be accurate, that should be Mac Jones and not Bailey Zappe

[–] TonySxbang@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Everyone knows Jones/Zappe are a package deal.

[–] tartan2@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Ah yeah, I looked at the boxscore and just picked the guy who had the majority of the passing volume. Don't think it really changes the underlying point though

[–] ExcitedFool@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I mean technically Mac jones should exist too in this list

[–] DivClassLg@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Now you know what Packer fans fell like making a similar list with Justin Fields on it…

[–] KWNewyear@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

”B-but it's a contest for Children!"

"Yeah, and Eberflus beat their brains out!"

[Crowd cheers]

[–] VIJoe@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Suggested corollary: Teams in a complete tear-down and rebuild shouldn't expect to beat good teams.

[–] alexamerling100@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Even when we win, people can't be happy for one second.

[–] TonySxbang@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Hey hey hey! It was Bailey Zappe and Mac Jones

[–] LegalComplaint@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

It was a two for one since both were bad after the second quarter.

[–] PenguinGovernment@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)
[–] LegalComplaint@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

End Mac Jones erasure.

[–] JawzOfVictory@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

By this pattern then you can predict W's by the the trash QBs they'll be facing. Cleveland and Atlanta for sure. But L's against Detroit and Arizona. Book It!

[–] Opportunity_Knocks23@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

So you’re telling me a team that tore their roster down to the studs in a blatant complete rebuild and has won 7 games in 2 years hasn’t beaten any good teams yet? Color me shocked!

[–] Crathsor@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Didn't we beat some of those with Tyson Bagent?

[–] JulioXstatic@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Hopefully we get Jordan Love on that list next month

[–] Mike_Honcho_3@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Bryce Young being done so dirty having to play for an organization so bad that it looks like garbage in comparison to the Bears

[–] herewegolittlemiss@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The Rick Mirer All Stars

[–] Loothar@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Ouch. That is danming.
