To have mass shootings or responsible gun control?

Besides the fact that gun control wouldn’t eliminate all mass shootings, it’s readily apparent that gun control is an issue that Dems make just enough political theater out of to keep the donations rolling in but don’t actually put any political capital on the line to make a reality, except in deep blue states.

Do you want your Saturday night entertainment to be mandatory attendance at this week’s book burning?

Ugh, this kind of hyperbole backfires, because if you propose that the opposition is going to do something so far beyond what they’ve actually put on the table, it makes voters cynical that you’re just fearmongering.

[–] CrimsonSage@hexbear.net 29 points 2 years ago

Democrats don't want any of that...

[–] CDommunist@hexbear.net 28 points 2 years ago

Libs are getting very desperate. Biden isn't a good candidate and they know it.

vote libs when they are forbidden from voteing in a competitive primary:

Several infamous mass shootings that people still talk about today happened under the Obama administration. Biden hasn't done shit about the environment and it's gotten even worse under him. Most of this is already happening and not changing anytime soon at the federal level.

[–] KarlBarqs@hexbear.net 16 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Other than Uvalde and the Las Vegas concert one, I'm fairly certain all the most brutal ones to enter the public psyche were under the Obama regime.

[–] GarbageShoot@hexbear.net 17 points 2 years ago

There are also older ones like Columbine and Virginia Tech

Seriously?
Hey asshole who wrote this, where's my 2,000?

[–] moonlake@hexbear.net 23 points 2 years ago

Can't wait for Biden to finally become the president so that he can fix all of these issues

>Communist Russia

Are all democrats pro choice? Honestly if so then that would maybe be the only reason I’d vote democrat if I were in the US. Not being able to legally get an abortion is scary as fuck to me.

[–] barrbaric@hexbear.net 28 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) (1 children)

Given they never tried to codify Roe into law, I would actually argue that all Dems are anti-choice.

[–] Sopje@hexbear.net 6 points 2 years ago

Hmm yeah then I see no point in voting for them, at least on federal level.

[–] Judge_Juche@hexbear.net 17 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Henry Cellular is the only openly anti-abortion Dem in Congress (who Pelosi campaigned for against a pro-choice primary challange in 2022). But there are a few Dem's who's position isn't really clear becuase they are in GOP leaning areas. Like Joe Manchin goes to both anti-abortion and pro-choice events.

[–] CantaloupeAss@hexbear.net 7 points 2 years ago (1 children)

He's anti abortion and his fucking name is Cellular?

Next u gonna tell me about the abortion expert named Mitosis?

[–] barrbaric@hexbear.net 9 points 2 years ago

I regret to inform you his last name is actually Cuellar.

[–] radiofreeval@hexbear.net 20 points 2 years ago

Religious oppression or individual freedom

What have the dems done against that?

Free Ukraine of Communist[sic.] Russia

badeline-scream

To improve working conditions for the worker [...]

Biden on billionaires: "The folks at the top aren’t bad guys. I get in trouble in my party when I say wealthy Americans are just as patriotic as poor folks. I’ve found no distinction."

I'm sure this guy (with 230 billionaire backers) will stand up for the proletariat.

To protect the environment or let corporations pollute without repercussions

2023 was the first time in the anthropocene that global average temperature exceeded 2C above preindustrial average. He's doing great.

To decide if you want an abortion or let the state decide for you.

Joe Biden famously codified roe into law which is why it exists today. Thank God we voted blue.

To have mass shooting or responsible gun control

The US had 647 mass shootings in 2022.

To be taught the history of America or just the white racist version?

Biden hasn't made any laws or executive orders pertaining to curriculum.

Do you want to restrict your right to vote [...]

The American electoral system is broken beyond repair. There is nothing he could do to fix it. Also, Biden literally needs to sign a single document to make election day a national holiday and allow people to vote more easily. He just doesn't care.

Do you want Saturday night entertainment to be mandatory attendance at this week's book burning?

That's why you should vote for someone who will do nothing to stop fascism, because he only serves to benefit from it.

The history taught in the US has always been the white rascist version

[–] borlax@hexbear.net 12 points 2 years ago

Would you rather have hyperbole or straight up lies?

[–] BurgerPunk@hexbear.net 11 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

Is supporting a Communist Russia really an option? Cause if it is ussr-cry

[–] BurgerPunk@hexbear.net 6 points 2 years ago

This list is like playing LA Noir

doubt

[–] Adkml@hexbear.net 6 points 2 years ago

Lol I was talking about seeing this non reddit the other day.

On reddit they at least were calling out that modern russia wasn't communist, too bad they didn't apply that level of scrutiny to literally every other bullet point.

I mean seriously if you post this it's fair to assume your worldview is basically a children's cartoon.
