AI Girlfriends?
Are they going to be an overall positive thing for those of us on the spectrum? I understand not everyone with ASD struggles with dating, but for those of us that will never experience the real thing is it a decent solution to loneliness?
Cmon this is just sad and a great example of how society fails neurodivergent people.

I'm on the spectrum as well so I know what you're talking about. This guy seems like he's in a particularly tough rut if he's going as far as looking for AI girlfriends. I really do hope he gets through this period somehow.
I can't remember for the life of me where I heard it but it was some statistic about how like... 35% of young men today have zero romantic or sexual outlet. That's over a third and we're somehow surprised a couple of them tried faking it with a robot?
