It only took Flus 10 tries and more than a season and a half to finally beat a divisional opponent. Why is this jackass still here?

It truly is unbelievable how non-clutch this motherfucker is
There’s no justification for bringing either Flus or Fields back next year. I hope to god Poles does the right thing in the offseason.
Can’t wait for us to be in this exact same position in 2026 with [insert 2024 1st round QB] and [insert January 2024 HC hire]
Second game this season where there’s just no excuse for how we lost. Our record should be 5-6 right now, it’s embarrassing that it isn’t.
Yeah so I don’t want to hear another person on this sub say how we shouldn’t draft a QB
He beat a 10-7 Raiders team with Derek Carr in 2021. That's it. I guess the 49ers game last year technically counts? 49ers went 13-4 but Trey Lance made his 3rd career start that game. Also, a fucking hurricane helped the Bears win that game lol.
Does anyone still think Poles is getting fired this offseason? Whether we think he deserves it or not, he's almost certainly gonna get to hire a second HC.
He's gonna have to play pretty goddamn good and win a lot of the remaining games for me to be cool with Poles passing on taking a QB in the top 2 for the second year in a row.
Don't worry, the Lions are probably gonna wipe that stupid fucking grin off his face in a hurry on the 19th
I'm so tired of this growing segment of the fanbase thinking that Bagent has a future as a starting QB, let alone as a GOOD starting QB or as a franchise savior for us. Look, it's not impossible for him to eventually develop into that. But the odds of that happening are really really slim. Plus does anyone seriously trust this regime or the next one to be able to develop him into that sort of guy? I'm very happy that we were able to find a D2 UDFA who is capable of being a decent backup and a game manager who can win a game in specific situations. Frankly, that is amazing in and of itself. But we have to stop putting this guy on a pedestal and thinking that he's something he's not. He's not Tom Brady, he's not even Brock Purdy. Maybe in a few years he'll be capable of being our starter if the next 1st round QB flames out too. But we seriously need to pump the brakes with our assessments and expectations of this guy.
