My god the (fake) Linus is annoying....barely made it through the first five minutes

Love the pattern! Do you plan to sew the scarf into a loop or keep it as it is?

Location: Germany, Nov 2025

I recently started laying out whole peanuts on my balcony in an attempt to attract some of the local crows, but caught the attention of three jays instead 😄

Same, upgrading to 6.8 for the exact same reason right now 😅

Great reminder to relisten to some of their stuff

There is probably some pun here I'm too uncreative to make.

Taken in Germany, Sept. 25 by my partner and uploaded with permission.

Great catch! Also really like the colours and lighting.

Glad you like them :) I used this pattern for the glove, however it is in German. There were some patterns in English I just looked up which seem to be somewhat similar (like these for example).

Are they really? I have to admit that I do like them, but I was under the impression that their lyrics where mostly meant to be funny. But then again, I don't always pay attention to the lyrics 😅

I can see the pineapple impression 😄 You are right, it's a seed stitch for the body.

It definetly was fun to just start and see how it works out (although I wished I had made some more comprehensive notes while knitting the first warmer; that would have been helpful in getting the second one to turn out similarly 🙈)

Thanks, they do keep you really warm, can recommend 😊

Thank you! I had to redo a couple of rows because I wasn't happy with the cable placement relative to the rib stitches and to get the owl proportions right, though. And I think having done gloves before helped the most :)

Some hand warmes with an owl cable stitch I finished recently. I didn't have much of a pattern, so I hope this post is still allowed.

Basically, I went off this picture for the owl/kable knit pattern and used some pattern for gloves to get the thumbs right.

I was thinking about maybe adding french knot stitches as eyes to make the owls more prominent, but I think I like the plain version better.
