Because those same countries were never ideologically opposed to fascism in the first place. America was a major inspiration for Hitler, namely in its jim crow laws and eugenics. Before world war 2, America loved Hitler. And the western powers are the reason why Zionism exists as an influential ideology to begin with. Britain gave the land for zionists to colonize to begin with. All of these same countries also committed the same atrocities themselves when colonizing places like the Americas, Africa, and Asia. Liberal governments have never been opposed to colonialism, genocide, or fascism.

Its different I think when it is your peers that find you annoying. And especially when what they find annoying are traits often associated with neurodivergence. For example I definitely exhibited conflict seeking behavior, I interrupted people a lot, I talked too much, had trouble paying attention to people when they are talking to me, and had trouble staying on topic. I also had a lot of trouble telling when I was bothering people, and thus did not stop when I should've.

Do you have to have ADHD to be annoying? No. Are you inherently annoying if you have ADHD? Also no. But ADHD makes it a lot harder to not come off as annoying to people, and I definitely struggled to not be annoying because of my neurodivergence.

I just don't understand anyone's logic here. I feel like you can defend someone's right to be somewhere because of their historical ties to a region, but I don't think you can use it to deny someone else's right to also live their cooperatively. That has been my understanding of decolonization. Its not about kicking all the colonial settlers out, but about removing the inequality and hierarchy when it comes to management of the land and living there.

However notice how I am also not pulling genetics into this. I am using historical ties. Just because you are 8% jewish or palestinian shouldn't mean you are entitled to anything. But if you can say your mother, grandmother, whatever lived there for however long then I feel like there is an argument. But that person could be armenian, manchurian, french, swahili, whatever. To me its about your own personal ties to the land, not your ethnicity. Blood doesnt mean shit.

I agree with this. There will still end up being a good chunk of moderator discretion, but maybe we can come up with some checks for that? Something that distributes the decision making power beyond just one mod.
