Because it is the original data source which can be used to find non paywall archives using tools such as https://archive.ph/

I think it's always good practice to link the original source.

You should also include a list of the open source alternatives (which are free) in the review.

When you get arrested for doing something within your rights, you don't actually have those rights.

Well they stripped people of citizenship, imprisoned, and sometimes executed for baseless claims,

They stopped citizens for leaving or entering the country.

They created a federal employment loyalty program and purged anyone that they deemed unloyal.

They had secret executive orders.

The FBI and the president seized a lot of power

A lot of what they did was later deemed unconstitutional.

You know, when FBI officials testified before the Church Committee they said, “At one point we had fifteen thousand people on the Security Index.” Expressing it like that you get the feeling that at one point we had as many as fifteen thousand. But that’s like saying that when you’re filling up Soldier Field for a football game, at some point you have fifteen thousand in the stadium. But wait a few minutes and you’ve got several thousand more. This is the way the FBI gives the information to Congress, and Congress doesn’t know what the hell they’re saying. They think: “Well, at some point that’s the maximum that we had,” which is not true. At some point we had fifteen thousand—leading up to a hundred thousand.

Enough to find and overcome issues with how you use it.

If you quit a distro before you run into an issue then that's not very helpful when it comes time to make a choice

If you aren't able to overcome and fix an issue that you run into while using the computer the way you would normally, then your probably not learning much about Linux.

My recommendation is to go for at least a minor kernel upgrade.

If all you want to do is test out distros before you commit to an install, then check out https://distrosea.com/

Can I interest you in freedom numerals? We got I french fry, II french fries, III french fries...ummm shit the rest is starting to seem like it would be hard to illustrate with french fries, and hamburgers aren't V shaped.

Also most of history class... although they still teach the parts they like about ancient Rome...but none of the weird decline of the empire or bisexual parts.

And don't get me started on what they want to do with Arabic numerals.

A Mossberg 500 is less than the cost of a midrange smart phone, about $500 new. You can deck it out like with that Streamlight TL Racker flashlight pictured and other accessories too for like another $200-300 and it would still be cheaper than an iphone.
