I love the books. Alexander Skarsgård do a job. I don’t like the over the top drama that the shows writers have added.

I think youtube autism from the inside is good place to start. I also like charisma on command

Except him to have problems with things you may excel at.

Show him empathy by summarizing his point of view, verbally.

I feel is very difficult to know how much energy one have in reserve and balancing it with the desire to perform.

I was disappointed that they answered so many questions up front, instead of flashbacks, and felt dum down the books. the hippie factor is over done.

For me I would give the television serie a 4/6 and the books 6/6

SNMP monitoring can give you a realtime visualize all the device connected to a network, different subnets, etc, and show the flow of data for each network device.

Looks great!

Scoop

The following table shows some examples of products in scope and out of scope in the Ecodesign Regulation:

In Scope

  • Smartphones, other mobile phones, cordless phones and slate tablets

Out of Scope

  • Mobile phones and tablets with a flexible main display which the user can unroll and roll up partly or fully

Check the complete list in the Ecodesign Regulation and the Energy Labelling Regulation.

Ecodesign Requirements

Ecodesign requirements will apply to smartphones and tablets put on the EU market from 20 June 2025 onwards.

The ecodesign requirements will include:

  • resistance to accidental drops or scratches and protection from dust and water
  • sufficiently durable batteries which can withstand at least 800 charge and discharge cycles while retaining at least 80% of their initial capacity
  • rules on disassembly and repair, including obligations for producers to make critical spare parts available within 5-10 working days, and for 7 years after the end of sales of the product model on the EU market
  • availability of operating system upgrades for longer periods (at least 5 years from the date of the end of placement on the market of the last unit of a product model)
  • non-discriminatory access for professional repairers to any software or firmware needed for the replacement

Energy Label

Energy Labelling requirements will apply to smartphones and tablets put on the EU market from 20 June 2025 onwards.

Smartphones and tablets will have to display information on their energy efficiency, battery longevity, protection from dust and water and resistance to accidental drops. This is also the first time that a product placed on the EU market will be required to display a repairability score.

This energy label will help EU consumers make more informed and sustainable purchasing choices and encourage sustainable consumption.

The European Product Registry for Energy Labelling (EPREL) offers more detailed information on models placed on the EU market. This can be accessed by scanning the QR code featured on the new energy labels.

Understanding the Smartphones and Tablets Energy

  1. Scale of energy efficiency classes from A to G.
  2. The energy efficiency class of this product.
  3. The battery endurance per cycle, in hours and minutes per full battery charge.
  4. Repeated free fall reliability class.
  5. Battery endurance in cycles.
  6. Repairability class.
  7. Ingress Protection rating.

I agree, it sadistic to cheer for an other man’s downfall, and should not be allowed one this community.

I think it good news that Elons bad choices, have consequences, is still doesn’t make it okay to hat on a man for being depressed.

I am not following this topic.

As I understand it this means that a man that in some way transforms to a look like a woman (since the internal feeling is that of a woman) are still considered a man.

What are the practical rights differences between a man and a woman under UK law?

Zfs loves memory, vm loves memory.

If you have the funds for it I would get a minimum of 32 GB.

Agree 1 lane of pci4.0 per M.2 SSD is enough.

Give me more slots instead.

I think AI driver give a good summary of some of issues with the Mark Rober showcase of LIDAR.

  • Some of the bias Mark Rober friendships with the LIDAR supplier.
  • Not using Tesla full self driving
  • Being so nervous that he accidentally disables autopilot, twice.
  • The one sided view in LIDAR, with not show examples of LIDAR have issues.
  • Give a way forward to do the tests with FSD
  • Mark Rober not giving the test his full attention, fun vs scientific process

The 0.19.4 release also broke marking posts as read in Sync for Lemmy. Although this isn't really something we consider a blocker, it's still worth mentioning, as there are still a lot of Sync for Lemmy users out there that haven't noticed this issue yet if they're only active on Lemmy.World. Over the last 2 weeks we've had nearly 5k active Sync for Lemmy users . This is unfortunately something that will break during the upgrade, as the API has changed in upstream Lemmy.

Due to the adverse weather conditions at Spa-Francorchamps, the decision has been made to postpone this afternoon’s FIA Formula 2 Sprint Race to 18:15 local time.

The race had been scheduled to get underway at 14:15 local time but following continuous rain hitting the track, it was first delayed before then being postponed.
