Europeans are the masters of nihilism. It's kind of honestly surprising your birth rates aren't lower. We have our own growing culture of nihilism to battle and we certainly don't need it harder.

Americans are far from prudes, but there's a place and a time for nudity. If we allowed public nudity in advertisements, half of our billboards would turn into porn. If you don't believe me, look at any state that's legalize marijuana: it seems literally half of all advertising is for weed. Maybe if we didn't have hyper aggressive market forces we could relax our laws a bit.

I'm not sure how you can be on lemmy or reddit and not recognize out-grouping from the left. Groups fundamentally define themselves by what they aren't. And each group will strawman the other to strongarm their adherents into staying within the group.

Communist. Pink haired liberals. Nazis. Fascists. Meaningless boring out-group names that are repeated ad nauseum. But go. Indulge. Join a team and have fun. But don't sacrifice real relationships for some politician. Be smarter than that.
