Bike/Electric scooter + public transport is a peak mobility, but public transport isn't even built for that :(

This if you had hardware and decent internet back then. Otherwise it's cs 1.6 from 2000.
Also in 2007 many were too hooked on MMOs to notice anything else really.
If the playerbase is in the same boat, have you tried to offer them to try to play something like in-universe standard?
If there would be a format where there would be 0 incentives to play UB, people would have no reason to buy UB.

IMO we should release Android from the Google grasp instead of doing something from the scratch entirely. Good part of it is opensource already.
Need to write the missing bits, and most importantly, do the competitive hardware that is not locked into proprietary ecosystem.
Tonns of apps for linux are made with PC UX in mind and thus completely unusable on the phone.
