I can attest my wife's 30 year old grandma car has enough oomph to help a truck and camper get unstuck from mud. That's gotta be at least 901lbs.

It's just mimicking dazzle camo.

You don't REALLY think it's been upgraded, the camo just tricks your brain into thinking it does...

Kim and Torres were guests of the Ocampa, and Kess knew how to get in and out of the shielded area. The Kazon were in the area but not directly involved yet.

So by beaming her up immediately, they would have had far more time available to do thing.

Now, whether they ask the right questions quickly enough to get in and out of the caves/cracks Kess got out through, who's to say.

Either way, if I recall correctly, the kazon knew not to fuck with the Caretakers station, so while I'm sure they would eventually have tested it to see if anyone was still home, it wouldn't have been as quick.

Ultimately I believe if Neelix had been truthful, the crew would have had enough time to figure out how to send themselves back to the alpha quadrant, and possibly been smart enough to set spatial charges to blow it up soon after they left to make sure the kazon don't get their hands on it.

I think it's important to remember that they are very much human, and people do inhumane things.

Let's not delve into the nazi "we're just exterminating vermin" rhetoric. We are very much wanting actual people to suffer.

Note: I don't consider that a bad thing. They would happily cast the first stone, and I'm more than happy to shoot back. Don't start shit, won't be shit. MAGA just doesn't know how to go about the "don't start shit" part, and I don't think anyone should feel guilty about them fucking around and finding out. It's a pity they have to drag so many down with them.

What change is this move driving? I can't see around all the genocide.

Given we are discussing going back in time 13.8 billion years, and being immune to any negative effects, I think we can go ahead and say that part is figured out by the magic time machine as well.

"being outside spacetime" is probably fine.

Also not a physicist either but that is my understanding as well, there was nothing, no space, no time, no up/down/left/right. And space is still expanding (albeit unevenly) all these billions of years later.

What's it expanding into? Nothing! At least as far as we know. Still waiting to bump up against the next universe bubble.

a spy chief saying something out loud is mainly a diplomatic message and not a secret plan.

Unless you're in the US, then they text secret plans directly to you.

But that's fair, it just seems like something a child would say when they're losing a game. "oh you're all right where I want you, this was all part of my plan"

At this point, "university is in the US" would do it.

And with all fads, it's cyclical. But on the internet, things move quicker so instead of 20-30 years, it's more like 5-10.

It's a centuries old tradition.
