VSA is just like the polygraph. It’s a pseudo scientific test that really takes advantage of most humans subconscious desire to be truthful. You can’t read the graph, most regular people can’t read it either, but the police tell you this is backed by science and they just need to convince the subject they “know” they are lying so they confess. The science is weak, depends on loose interpretation of the human body, is not the same results from human to human or even same human multiple sessions. Oh and wholly depends on the subject feeling guilty and wanting to confess. Helps when they are heavy religious too.

INAL - This internet stranger would advise no one ever willingly take a test (guilty or not). These are NOT admissible in any US court but everything you say, is. The questions asked are often leading, vague and a single “negative“ will lead to more questions.

Source: I studied them way back as an alternative career path in 2001. Left after the first course ended where I realized these are most commonly used to evaluate sex offenders and that shit is a dark road.

Seriously, you’re not enough for this old liberal man. I want a safety social net that also protects our lives and every generation to come. I want FREE (paid by taxes) healthcare, education and a working wage with 30 hour weeks. Tax anyone 99% that makes more that 10mil a year. Promote business who have a human benefit purpose. Tax churches that we can prove promote hate, tax corporations that only care about profit… tax items not made to last or be recycled…

Trust me, any public transport would be great but even in liberal states we’re seeing large fund cuts. The public bus stop 5 min from my house that went straight to the tram that goes downtown is now a 30 min walk that goes to a diff tram station that goes to my regular tram station which goes downtown. 1.5 hours to go 15 miles, I’ll uber. Or in summer months I’ll ride my bike to the close tram.

I can’t wait to move to the city….

My dad gave me the advice that your wife will likely look like her mother. My ex now, at 30 years looked exactly like her mom and I’m glad for reason 1001 to be divorced from her. No1 was: she’s a nasty, self centered twat who did nothing for us unless it benefited herself.

I laughed a little too hard at this, because I just don’t love the beach. Felt like I should send it to my friends who are beach nuts, but looked down at my toast with honey I was eating and realized how much we enjoy things that are made by the excretion of other creatures.
