I got into the weeds a bit more in this comment.

Before I moved from Vancouver I was working piece work, so paid by the square foot of stone installed(I'm a stone mason). I was making about the equivalent of $40/hr. With cost of food, cell, vehicle insurance, fuel, etc. I had to live with 3 other people, my rent was still about $1000/month, $1500+ with bills. For a room.

That wasn't really a great example without context. When I moved to London 2 pints of milk was 60p, 500g of really good cheese was £1.50 maybe. Rent on the last 2 bed my wife and I rented in London was £1100. The last 2 bed I rented in greater Vancouver, so 2017ish, was $3000.

My monthly car insurance before I moved in November 2020, even with exchange rate, is ⅔ of my ANNUAL cost here. My cell plan is £24pcm and I get 500gb of data, plus global roaming. 1kg of chicken breast that I just picked up today for dinner was £2 and change.

Legit. I grew up in Vancouver. When I moved to London (UK) to be with my wife I was blown away by how cheap food was. Prices are rising, inflation, COVID, Brexit, etc. still, I pay less than £2 for 2 pints(bit over a litre) of milk.
A standard shop for 2 weeks is usually around £80-100, but we get easily double what I'd get at a grocery for $80-100 PRE covid.

My general stance is that, for the most part, Americans are like everyone else is. They're mostly perfectly fine individually. It's when you get them all in a group that they're an issue.

As a stone mason, I object to this statement. Rocks are useful.

I definitely would with Garuda. Like I said, they've removed basically all of the pain points of arch. I set my 70yr old dad up with Garuda, he's been using MacOS mostly and windows for work for ages. The only thing I had to show him was how to open a terminal and type "sudo update" every few weeks. Everything else is as intuitive as any other Linux distro.

Anyone tied in with the BC NDP? I'm an export(I hate the term expat, doesn't apply to me, always be a Canadian regardless of where I live) currently in the UK. Elections.ca says the candidate registration deadline is the 7th, and details to be released 9th. But I'm a bit antsy to see who's running for my registered riding. It'd be nice to have a chance to look into who I'm going to be voting for. My main concern is that sometimes mail can take quite a while to get through to home from here, and I want to be able to send my ballot as early as possible so I'm positive that it will get to Ottawa before 6pm of the 28th.
As we all know this election has a lot potentially hanging on the outcome, and I want my say counted.

Thanks for any info or thoughts. ✊

I looked through the posts here, and the various threads on the git. Saw that the feature was implemented, but doesn't appear in my settings?

Just wondering if it was axed, never actually got rolled into main, or was rolled back due to stuff?

Using Voyager, so maybe an issue with how it's communicating with the picture services?

Just hoping someone here can give me info on the pin out of the power lead so I can buy a replacement. I contacted 3dSystems, and they sent me the EoL package along with the code to unlock the printer. The EoL package has not been helpful for the power supply issue, and weeks of combing the web and forums has come up with nothing. So I'm hoping someone here can help me out.

Thanks for any help you lovely folk can come up with!

I don't have a pre-cheat save, and I'm stuck in Ruan because I have turned in one of a stack of key items, but since I still have a load of them I can't progress. Also can't hand the item back more than once. Looking like I'll have to either find a save that's around the same area as I am, or start from scratch......

If anyone has any idea how to delete items from your inventory.....for the love of f**k please clue me in....

The PG sub was one of the ones I've been missing, glad you guys are here!
