The rest of the season dictates how I feel about him. If he plays well like he did against the lions, and we see that more then I think it's a no brainer to keep him.
If he shows more of what we saw at the start of the season and shows inconsistency reading the field then it may be time to move on.

But an unproven guy with no post season success let alone any regular season success will be looked at a lot differently putting up similar stats.

Thing is hurts has a pretty good resume up to this point. So it's seen a lot different then a guy who isn't proven yet but has a bad game.
Stats aren't everything. The guy seems to never know where to go with the ball. Then he's indecisive whether he should run or pass rather then just make a play.
