Briggs said this same thing I believe. I'm not sure what they'll do, and I have little faith that what they will do is the right thing, but we will see.
TL:DW: Liked how they started the game with quick throws.
Didn't like how they kept going back to screens since they weren't getting yards - suggests other plays could be used.
Liked the Kmet catch play call.
Thinks JF can athletically make the plays they call, but thinks the coaches aren't putting him in enough situations to prove it will consistently happen. Unsure if they don't trust him to make it or they are just being conservative.
That post is far from one of the best ever. He gets the types of fans right, but the complete ignorance of our QB failures in citing only Trubisky and Fields as QBs that failed here is pretty unforgivable.
Imagine trying to use this as a barometer for QB play when legit good to great QBs are also in the tops of these stats. Give it up, we get that you guys hate Fields. Maybe start your own hate sub.
One missed tackle did not end the game. The horseshit play calling and scheme were the overall tone on the last quarter. Laying this on Edmunds is a garbage take.
Some of the better guys can play well in to their 30s, but the average Joes kind of just wash out or become reserve guys.
Whitehair is 31. Tough line of work once you're past 30. He had a good career.
If Williams or Maye are on the board, we're taking a QB, barring an MVP level back half for Fields.
Trubisky had an amazing defense on that team giving him great Field positions. It masked a lot of issues he had.
