Saved you a click:

A team of scientists from Manchester University used computer simulations and forecasts to map the potential future spread of Aspergillus, a common group of fungi found all over the world that can cause aspergillosis, a life-threatening disease primarily affecting the lungs.

They found certain Aspergillus species will expand their range as the climate crisis intensifies, pushing into new parts of North America, Europe, China and Russia. The study, published this month, is currently being peer reviewed.

So yeah, clickbait title not withstanding... not good, but also not that big of a deal. Add it to the stack.

In business, good ideas are a dime-a-dozen. People who can figure out how to monetize (ie, get people to pay for) those ideas are the ones that get paid big. If you cant figure out how to make money from it, it is not likely to magically work out later.

They are going about this all wrong.

NHTSA says stop-as-yield for cyclists is safer for everyone involved.

Around age 5ish, mostly Storybots. Ruff Ruffman. A few other shows handled it well for younger kids.

Once a bit older, maybe 7-8, I setup an old laptop with debian and allow-listed network connection, etc. Let them play with it and gave them learning activities.

This vaccine wasn't designed for gonorrhoea. It's the meningitis B vaccine currently given to babies.

But the bacteria that cause the two diseases are so closely related that the MenB jab appears to cut gonorrhoea cases by around a third.

Medical science is so bizarre.

Count yourself fortunate. I never had any kind of meaningful relationship with any of my grandparents. They were just people we visited sometimes.

No one said it was a prerequisite. R1

Yes, and where I work the HV line is several times that.

Nope. All the downvotes wont make my mail carrier suck any less. USPS around here is terrible for packages. Mailbox stuff is fine.

I was annoyed by MAC Randomization on my own network and wondered whether there are any effective attacks to re-id devices.

Sure enough.

I guess it's officially time to recommence the yearly grind of yard maintenance. We didnt even get to enjoy a respite, with all the snow we had.

AI by itself doesn't bother me per se (I'm not OP.) What bothers me is content is inaccurate or obviously just garbage. Unfortunately, it's the toupee fallacy again.

Google has started automatically blocking emails sent by bulk senders who don't meet stricter spam thresholds and authenticate their messages as required by new guidelines to strengthen defenses against spam and phishing attacks.

As announced in October, the company now requires those who want to dispatch over 5,000 messages daily to Gmail accounts to set up SPF/DKIM and DMARC email authentication for their domains.
