So the findings of mentioned in the headline are from a report from consumer action groups, this has already been established by Dutch authorities earlier and they have been fined for this behaviour. But apparently continuing is still more profitable than changing their modus operandi, so now these consumer groups are preparing a massaclaim (class-action lawsuit)
Anyone from the Netherlands who booked a hotel room (also if you havent used booking.com, since their behaviour impacted the whole market) can sign-up to take part: https://www.consumentenbond.nl/acties-claims/claims/booking?icmp=kader_bookingclaim
Dutch law surrounding these class-action lawsuits limits payout of damagas to Dutch consumers unfortunately for everybody else.
European taxpayers would want to see a return in the form of job creation and defence industry development on European soil.
Include me as well, if we're spending all that money on us tech I am not going to be happy about that.
No offense to op, but I feel like good plans are not good news yet.

It doesn't say anything on how much more than $1,000 is spend. If in state a 2 out of 10 people spend $1,001 a year and the other 9 out of then $999 while in state b 1 out of 10 spends $2,000 a month and the other 9 out of 10 spend $999 then the stats show the are twice as many expensive in state a while in reality the only expensive cars are in state b
Probably has multiple roots that came together, i believe the name techno has something to do with there being new (tech) instruments and I afaik the drummachines came from hip hop because rock had real drummers but techno also used analog synthesisers in their early days which I guess were not from hip hop but from punk. Disco must had an influence as well, but I am really no expert.
I didn't feel accused, so all good :)
Definitly true and fair point, yes i meant pop music in western countries. Also still a lot of new classical music being released. I would be more right if i had said 'almost all genres of western pop music have Afro-American roots'.
You forget the option 'choose to participate and try to push your city/country closer to the world you dream of'.
Also reggea and dancehall come from Jamaica as well, incredible such a small country having so much influence.
I'd say the content will forever remain "human written content", but also that it being once written by a human doesn't mean the repost is a valuable addition to reddit.
