Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I know there are many people feeling similar. And I have some thoughts that help me not to give up hope.

1. change doesn’t come fast, it’s growing slowly under the actions small or big of people who want it.
2. there are likeminded people in the world. We are not the majority but we are not alone
3. there is no alternative to aim for a better, healthier world. Even if it looks dark, giving up is not an option
4. go on your own pace. Small steps can make the difference. Don’t expect major changes. Revolutions happen once in 100 years, even less I guess.
5. find at least one or two friends or comrades who share your values. Join a union or a political movement, try to engage and find your place.

Ja schönen Dank. Die Reste der Zivilgesellschaft sind die ganze Zeit aufmerksam. Die Mittel des ehrenamtlichen zivilgesellschaftlivhen Engagement sind aber begrenzt und durch Kriminalisierung („Antifa“) und Kürzungen geschwächt. Nun ist auch endlich die Politik gefragt, klare Antworten auf den Rechtsruck zu geben, statt weiterhin alles auf „den Bürger“ abzuwälzen. Vorschläge? Rücktritt von Merz, Verbotsverfahren AfD einleiten, Gelder für demokratische Bildung priorisieren, Gelder für Opferberatung bereitstellen, klare antifaschistische Haltung präsentieren. Wären so mögliche Anfänge.

Das GEOS war zwar interessant, aber so langsam, dass es eigentlich vernünftigerweise nicht benutzbar war. Es sei denn, man investierte nochmal in Speichererweiterung und Festplatte (ja, gab es Anfang der 90er für den C64). Für das Geld konnte man sich aber auch einen PC mit Windows kaufen….

Oh je, sowas habe ich schon geahnt, als ich das erste Mal ChatGPT ausprobiert habe. Es gab ja bereits vorher einen Markt für schlechte, billig erstellte Kinderbücher von der Stange. Jetzt potenziert sich das ganze nochmal.
