it's been really hard, for almost a year... but I got some news last week that released a lot of weight for me.

i still have a lot to work thru, but I'm working on accepting what's in front of me and the choices I made that got me here.

sincerely hope all the homies here are ok, or can find a path towards it.

some nihilist vibes there. I mean... at least it's an ethos.

may be a grey area technically or legally, but very sketchy as a user.

no thank you sir, I don't like it.

to be fair? fuck that. the states represent people, just arguing 'states rights' is disingenuous at this point.

land shouldn't vote, but the way our government currently is functioning, regardless of what our slaveholding 'founding fathers' intended, is an absolute mess.

and I don't accept your argument in good faith.

edit. a word

I'm guessing it was his idea, and they couldn't convince him not to do it.

daily read for me, subbed!

Seriously?

So I have some beans from 2 different roasters, the light roast is a bit old (Great North), and there wasn't much left when my partner brought me another roast that I can't get from out of state that's a medium roast (Philz). That medium roast is almost gone now too, so I mixed them together and made a pour over this morning.

It's pretty interesting, it has those light flowery notes up front, but then finishes with a rich depthness that wasn't apparent when I was brewing the medium roast solo.

Just thought that was interesting... but now I want to hear from you. Do you ever mix beans for your brews, pour over or otherwise? Do you get different flavor profiles when doing so? How about fresh or older beans?

Let me know in the comments below, thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day!

;)
