Mr. Mertle, the eccentric recluse in town, needs a band of brave adventurers to help him deal with a problem. Goblins have taken up residence around the crumbling remains of an ancient fighting pit behind his home, and their presence is becoming increasingly disruptive. But what seems like a simple pest control job quickly turns into something far more dangerous - and more bizarre.

As the adventurers arrive, they discover the goblins are not what they seem. Instead of mindless marauders, these goblins are on a quest of their own: to retrieve a cherished artifact that lies hidden somewhere in Mr. Mertle's walled-off gardens without falling victim to the mysterious and dangerous creature that lives there.

A brain surgeon makes money by working on brains and therefore is in the working class; the person that owns the hospital makes money by extracting rents from the brain surgeon and therefore is in the capitalist class.

Upper class and middle class don't necessarily correspond directly with those terms.

The GOP’s self-styled image as the party of “law and order” has purchase insofar as it contrasts with the Democrats who turned a blind eye to crimes committed by the right people...

How many of them changed their minds when they were told that DJT is, in fact, over the age of 75?

What do you think Biden will be able to on court reform without a supermajority in the House and Senate?

The court reform announcement is entirely an aspirational effort. "Just think what we could do if you get out and vote."

I think that, like it or not, the legal landscape today is what we have to contend with this election cycle.

This would be awesome. Give Harris a two hour uninterrupted prime time spot to let the former prosecutor make a case against electing a convicted felon and follow it with 2 hours of the oldest candidate in US history rambling. 😆

The show follows the book series faithfully through the first six books. The loose ends tie into the story arch of the last three books. But I think they ended the show at a really good place because the last arch takes a turn toward the "fantastic" which is still good but feels very different from the rest.

Donald Trump's lawyers are seeking to vacate his New York hush money conviction based on Monday's Supreme Court ruling on presidential immunity.

I guess you could say I swapped Bob a loo mop and got Pam's broom.

In a 6-3 decision, SCOTUS rejected the notion that state legislatures have unlimited power to determine the rules for federal elections and draw partisan congressional maps without interference from state courts.

How much effect will this have on existing congressional maps and upcoming elections?
