So I'm tax exempt now since I have thoughts? Those poor tax payers though must not have any thoughts, so they should be taxed as a result.

Your orange God.

Clearly I'm not a fan of his if you can read, but here you are obsessive to the point where you have to lie to even try to make a point. It isn't healthy for you nor is it healthy for the Democratic party. Younger people & those with actual independent thoughts are going to see your hypocrisy & want nothing to do with Democrats ever. Afterall, it is no longer a secret now how much the establishment Democratic party lied & gaslit using people just like you to lie on their behalf. It was those people, your people, that got us here.

Cancer getting to stage for undiagnosed for someone like Biden would be incredibly rare. In fact, the side effects of the treatment itself would explain much of what we've seen with Biden. Also, the administration supported genocide & gaslit and lied to everyone about Biden's mental fitness, but now you think it is pertinent to trust the genocidal geriatric. The real cancer is in the Democratic party right now with people always gaslighting, making excuses, claiming moral superiority despite showing their lack of morals, etc. If you want Democrats to win they maybe start focusing on how they intend to accept responsibility & correct their issues this time around, rather than projecting & playing histrionics.

Yeah of course I realize that, like almost all of the same people you're criticizing realize it. Sure there are a few incredibly dumb ones... and you could even argue that a majority of them aren't very smart to vote for an obvious conman, but to take even the most obviously sarcastic statements seriously doesn't help in your case, nor does it help Democrats when they lose to the people they claim are incredibly dumb. The stage 9 was to emphasize that it has very likely been there for a long time & that Biden has known about it.

The bigoted politicians spouses aren't concerned about their partner leaving them for someone who is cisgender.

[–] timewarp@lemmy.world 1 points 3 hours ago

Very true. This will hurt their tickets about as much as Trump telling voters that gay people can't wrestle cause only mostly naked straight men pretend fight & then pin each other to the ground.

She was likely to end up killing him. When I see stories like this, it is clear they usually have an agenda to claim it is the fault of AI. I guess the go-to legal defense from now on will be, "AI convinced me to do it." If we should be changing any laws, they should be to ensure adequate mental health treatment for everyone, but especially for the religious type & those who watch too much trash on Netflix.

Maybe she is the type that when he cheats she claims to be strong while immediately changing her appearance & posting nonstop pictures on social media of all the "fun" she is having without him while making sure to tag him in every one.

[–] timewarp@lemmy.world 7 points 3 hours ago

Yeah... But brain rot will have you believe if they cheat, you need to attack the person they cheated on you with.

Religion & Christianity are in major decline with modern technology. At some point we have to confront why Democrats thought having thousands of corporations across America operate as tax exempt non profits while spreading Trump's messaging was a good idea. Religion, but especially Christianity, is always the elephant in the room. Religious leaders love the idea of the past when they had more power/control/$. Are we going backwards or forwards?

I'm so sick of politicians & their "strongly" worded letters while Gazans starve to death. We know what works & gets their attention. Boycott, divest & sanction. If anyone or any country is serious about saving Palestinians then start acting like it.

Despite a few short-lived news articles on the lawsuit back in January, the case against Sam Altman is still heating up. The case filed by his own biological sister, alleges that he started molesting her when she was only 3 years old & it continued throughout her childhood. Although he argues counterclaims in this case like defamation, the defense of Sam Altman thus far appears to be primarily based around his sister being mentally unfit and that she is only making claims of him molesting her because "their family stopped giving her money."

Based on her YouTube videos though she appears lucid, compassionate & intelligent. Sam's main argument for dismissal appears to be that she wants financial support, while Ann claims to be a beneficiary to her late father's trust where she already receives money. Proving someone is lying about a trust requires minimal effort, but so far Sam's motion to dismiss appears to indicate that his prestige alone should be all that is needed to support his motion.

Other executives claimed to have shown the board screenshots of Sam's manipulation & lying when he was briefly fired as CEO. We all saw firsthand Sam cozy up to one of biggest liars & manipulators of all time, which Sam is now defending. Given Trump's own accusations of sexual abuse and his department backtracking their alleged Epstein files release, it begs to question whether Sam & Trump both share something much more sinister in common.

After Biden's terrible debate that showed us the Wizard behind the curtain in plain view, my immediate reaction was to re-evaluate the media and establishment Democrat's response to the Robert Hur investigation. The investigation declined prosecution, noting they were convinced Biden was an "elderly man with poor memory." Little did we know, this meant Biden couldn't even recall what year Trump was elected.

The Democratic apparatus went into overdrive to defend Biden, claiming he was young and dynamic behind the scenes. Biden's press secretary stated many times that he was more energized than ever, and no one in his administration ever doubted his mental capacity. In fact they argued it was so strong, that it was offensive to question it. Afterall, did Biden even need to campaign and talk to the press when everyone "knew" just how vigorous he was.

Biden asserted executive privilege over the tapes with Republicans eventually voting to hold Merrick Garland in contempt for failing to provide them. If they had released the tapes after the investigation, they could have left it to the people to judge at the beginning of February, 2024. Instead, we were forced to wait until Biden's shocking June debate performance, where we all saw the emperor had no clothes and that we had been gaslit and lied to by the same people that we felt obliged to trust. Afterall, they kept telling us democracy depended on it.

In this moment, had Democrats not insisted there was nothing to hide and do-nothing Merrick Garland actually provided the tapes publicly, it could have presented a new candidate sooner.

Sass is a popular open-source CSS framework for building websites. It is commonly used in some of the most popular open source projects, like Next.js. It is one of the few open source projects that when developers navigate their website for docs or whatever, they see a banner at the top of the page that says "Free Palestine." It is a shame that more software projects are too scared to show their support for Palestine, or that are actually opposed to Palestine's existence.

Trump is bad. I agree... but why is the left suddenly all sympathetic towards rich people & CEOs like this, who exploit cheap labor.

A reminder that everytime you get upset at Trump & Musk that you should also be upset with the Democrats that got us here.

A recent event led me to fact check something that I thought must be untrue, which is that Ukraine conscripts people into the military against their will, including making those people that had previously fulfilled their obligations return to the battlefield.

Moreso, when browsing X recently I saw bunch of videos being posted of what claimed were police forcing people into vans to go fight in Ukraine. The police were beating these people in the process. Now, it is possible that some of this content is propaganda, but I did want to find out if Ukraine forces conscription.

It appears that it is true:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conscription_in_Ukraine

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/show/lacking-manpower-ukraine-resorts-to-harsh-means-to-force-draft-dodgers-into-combat

I am very much against conscription. I still support Ukraine's independence, but the fact that they are forcing people to fight through beatings, arrests, etc. is sickening to me and makes me lose respect for Zelensky. According to an estimate by Ukrainian commanders, 50% to 70% of Ukrainian conscripts are killed or wounded in their first few days in combat on some areas of the front.

What are others thoughts on this?

In Trump's latest Truth Social post, he shares a disgusting video depicting a golden statue of himself, a sky scraper with his name on it, a superyacht on the Gaza coast, him holding hands with a female entertainer in a night club wearing a see-through gown, him & Netanyahu shirtless together sipping alcohol on the Gaza coast with a sign that says "Trump Gaza," and money raining down with kids jumping up to grab it.

All the signs of what many would call the antichrist, yet the religious-right is convinced he's their savior. He wants to turn Gaza into a Las Vegas style resort with his name plastered everywhere.

Google Gemini seems to have been programmed to provide cookie cutter responses when asked questions about whether Trump tried to overturn the election.

When you point it out to Gemini, it says it isn't programmed to avoid any topics or viewpoints.

Even saying you'll accept a variety of sources & viewpoints on the topic to reach your own conclusion, results in it saying it can't answer.

When asking if it has been trained on research papers, case law, indexed news stories & even Wikipedia results, it says that it has.

Since “President” Musk isn’t even an elected government official and has a history of drug abuse, erratic behavior, narcissism, and child abuse… why won’t Democrats try to get one of the federal judges they appointed to issue an involuntary psych hold on him, like on a Friday evening… where they have him get drug tested & evaluated to see if he should be breaking into classified government systems, or if he’s been fueling up on ketamine again & snorting the addy’s or coke with his daddy role model.

Federal judges are lifetime appointments. The only people that can remove them are Congress & it requires impeachment with 2/3 just like the President. Essentially, if Democrats agree on this, there is no way the judge will get impeached as a result.

@gnukeith on X, a @Brave + $BAT Ambassador specifically chosen by Brave is now promoting far-right extremists on X.

Brave CEO, Brendan Eich, was previously ousted from his role as CEO of Mozilla, after it was found that he had donated to Prop 8, a campaign in California aimed at banning gay marriage. Despite Brendan Eich claiming at the time that he regrets his decision, he has since made multiple social media posts defending his anti-gay position.

At some point people must decide whether they wish to ditch the Fox, as Brave started advertising to users searching up Firefox on the Google Play Store, or if they want to ditch the anti-LGBTQ+ browser.
