No the point is for other investment firms to buy them in the crash. You will rent forever. Sorry.

Lots of people break laws but we don't start identify people as "jaywalking citizens" just because they jaywalked.

So they are here illegally, better people have done worse things.

I think "undocumented" is a much less loaded term.

Why does this community exist on Lemmy?

[–] vala@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

I'm openly blocking any emails that include the words "Microsoft" or "windows".

You can say whatever you want but people are going to judge you for it.

Most people here prefer to use inclusive language that doesn't make anyone feel unwelcome.

People with actual mental deficiencies exist on Lemmy and it may or may not hurt them to use words like this.

If it hurts even one good person then it's probably just worth increasing your vocabulary to avoid that.

Not to mention imo suggesting someone is actually "retarded" means they should be treated with understanding and patience. People who are deliberately ignorant don't deserve that patience.

This is an absurd question to be asking when the man was literally shot by armed thugs outside of his house in the middle of the night just because he came to the door for the wrong people.

These things happen here.

This is such an absurd way to describe one of the most influential music theorists of the modern age.

I get that the headline wanted to tie him to Microsoft but this is like introducing Tony Hawk as a guy who started a successful clothing company.

Edit: glad to see I'm in good company here.

It's going to be interesting what he does when it becomes clear that his plan of transfering his consciousness into one of his children is not happening and he has to die like the rest of us.

What exactly is the problem? It upsets you that people come up with new humorous ways of speaking?

It's not like your example actually has proper grammar either? So is the problem just that they added a word instead of taking one out like you did?

I just don't understand the problem here.

Right now it's using keyboards that don't have nearly enough keys on them.

I don't understand why a VPN needs special software to work honestly but I guess that's valid. It's likely it would "work" in wine but idk if it will be able to do what it needs to.

Remote play is already semi-broken on stable. In the sense that the video renders super dark unless you disable hardware decoding.

https://github.com/ValveSoftware/SteamOS/issues/1246

The beta and preview channels are even worse. The remote play session will just never load at all.

It seems like this is slipping through the cracks. I'm making this post to raise some awareness on the issue. Not sure what we can really do though.

Edit: God damn it valve.

Steam version v0.1.4.1 has been released.

Patch Notes:

===

▼Major Fixes ・Fixed an issue where the game would always crash and save data would be corrupted when the total number of Pals captured by the guild reached approximately 7000. ・In the previous patch, save data that had already been in this state (for servers, the server's world data) remained in a broken state that made it impossible to load, but after applying this patch it will be resolved and will load properly.

・Fixed an issue where some weapons equipped by other players would disappear when a player used a grenade in multiplayer.

・Fixed an issue where, although the displayed capture probability increased when the capture power was strengthened with Lifmunk Effigies, the capture probability did not actually increase at all due to an internal processing bug.

▼Base related ・Fixed an issue where if a Pal that was manually assigned to a breeding farm went to sleep, it would not wake up forever. ・Fixed an issue where no wood would drop when Pal at the base felled a tree.

▼Others ・Implemented countermeasures against some cheats and exploits.

===

We will continue development placing top priority on fixing major problems and issues. Thank you for your continued support of Palworld.
