Remember male folk you can't be arrested (anyplace I know of anyway) for wearing a speedo and conservatives hate it.
depends on the state for women too iirc
Check your local laws too. State might be legal, the city might not. For example in Texas it is often illegal or restricted under local ordinances.
Red being "ambiguous" and blue being "no" is certainly a choice
one of the decisions of all time
Yeah, I had a similar thought. I mean nothing is set in stone with color coding, but there are some pretty clear norms.
I lived in Seattle for a while and got used to the nudity, imagine my sadness moving to Arkansas which bans any public nudity "within view" of the opposite sex (hello gay campgrounds) - but last year I saw a lesbian go topless at Pride and I was SO happy! My straight neighbor made it a point to mention how she didn't care for that, and I'm like, it's our event lady, don't come.
Having lived near Seattle most of my life and visiting for any number of festivals, sporting events, visiting family, the zoo, parks, a weekly bocce league, I never once saw a topless woman except for at the solstice parade.
MN clarified that toplessness isn't lewd, and therefore it's legal.

Man, I hate these maps. Sure, it's still shaped like the US, but the states are in totally incorrect places. For example, VA is three states in on this map. Functionality is more important than esthetics.
it's better than trying to see what color one of the tiny northeast states are
id argue it is more functional than a normal map lol
I like how north Carolina is to the west of South Carolina. Very intuitive.
conservatives will pretend they don't like.
Remember any folk, the law does not matter to fascists.
Any private business can ban you, so it's more, "on public property" kinda thing
