Toyota is seriously missing out on electric vehicles. Hybrids are overly complicated.

I mean, it's a fuck up in hindsight... They clearly saw something in the technology that the rest of the market hasn't. It IS a viable option for EV's, but it feels at this point like it's a failed standard akin to Betamax vs VHS or HD-DVD vs Blu-ray. We've got thousands of BEV chargers across America now, and about 50 hydrogen fueling stations (in California only). I don't know if there is a market for both at this point... And there hasn't been for a while. Unbelievable that they're STILL sticking with it.
