Chinese influencer sprays "toilet" on steele at Yasukuni War Crimes Shrine, records himself pissing on it, then flys back to China and gloats. Japanese far rightoids malding and seething, with a holocaust-denying plastic surgeon offering 10 million yen as a reward for his arrest.

It's also been reported on Westoid and Japanese media so you can search up an article if you want. Reason I'm linking to the tweet is that it has the video and all the English language news is incredibly biased (i.e. no mention of why a Chinese person might not like Yasukuni Shrine until the very last paragraph).

TBH most US military memorials are just as bad as this. Whenever I see someone thanking Vietnam or Korean war vets I think about how it's not really any better than thanking an nazi for their service in WW2.

It's a little different because at one point in the 70s it was deliberately decided to enshrine the souls of about a dozen class A war criminals. Closest comparison I can think of would be the US DOD consciously deciding at one point decades later to carve then names of the Mai Lai murderers and Abu Graib torturers onto a monument.

Törni died in a helicopter crash during the Vietnam War and he was promoted to the rank of major posthumously. His remains were located three decades later and then buried in Arlington National Cemetery; he is the only former member of the Waffen-SS known to be interred there.

Are we sure they haven't done that yet?

Good point. Death to America.

I’m supposed to have respect for a bunch of bitches who were too scared to stand up for justice and kill their commanders, but brave enough to massacre children and destroy a country. Fuck those soldiers. They deserve to be traumatized and depressed.
