"black jazz", also known as... jazz

[–] Tunnelvision@hexbear.net 13 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

As opposed to smooth jazz, you know, the meme genre.

[–] Erika3sis@hexbear.net 35 points 1 year ago (2 children)

One thing I'll never understand about pedos is why they seem to all be like "It is my God-given right to possess CSAM / molest children actually, in fact everybody already secretly feels this way and you've all just been brainwashed into fear / you're all just cobalt-owning hypocrites"

Like it doesn't seem like it should be that hard to acknowledge an evil desire without acting on it, without trying to justify or rationalize it, and without hating oneself for it. Fucking skill issue lmao shrug-outta-hecks

[–] FourteenEyes@hexbear.net 28 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Yes the rest of us politely restrain our lust for children because we don't want to be rude maybe-later-honey

[–] Erika3sis@hexbear.net 14 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Molesting children seems a few steps above rude, it seems more like inflicting life-lasting trauma which serves to maintain capitalism and all its secondary contradictions to me

Pedophilia isn't even a natural lust, it literally only exists in the context of a society that needs to inflict harm on children to reproduce itself

[–] FourteenEyes@hexbear.net 11 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (2 children)

I'd argue it's as "natural" as psychopathy or pyromania tbh

[–] Erika3sis@hexbear.net 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I don't doubt that you would, but I do have to question whether you'd be arguing specifically from a feminist perspective or from gut feelings derived from unquestioned beliefs.

[–] FourteenEyes@hexbear.net 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Pedantry over what "natural" means, as pedophilia has been observed in penguins and otters, and I think dolphins as well

[–] Erika3sis@hexbear.net 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

OK that really is freaking pedantic, but if you're just pointing out my appeal to nature Phallussy, then sure, whatever, I probably shouldn't have used such a vague but loaded word when I wasn't meaning it 100% literally.

[–] FourteenEyes@hexbear.net 11 points 1 year ago (1 children)

As long as we're being pedantic that's what matters very-smart

[–] Erika3sis@hexbear.net 9 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Damn I can't even be mad at you

How does that serve to maintain capitalism?

[–] RyanGosling@hexbear.net 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Get arrested by Feds -> get turned into an informant -> infiltrate organizations that threaten capital

[–] HeavenAndEarth@hexbear.net 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Is this a well known/common phenomenon?

[–] RyanGosling@hexbear.net 5 points 1 year ago (3 children)

For pedophilia specifically? I don’t know about the statistics, but they used it to infiltrate pedo communities and Nazi groups (which I mean, are the same) - but even then there are rarely meaningful punishments when those targets are arrested. But felonies in general are attractive because they provide more leverage for cops. The FBI hired a violent felon to infiltrate and disrupt BLM during the George Floyd protests in Colorado

[–] HeavenAndEarth@hexbear.net 1 points 1 year ago (2 children)

I don't really know anything about this phenomenon so forgive me if I ask dumb questions, but why would feds recruit pedophiles to infiltrate orgs? It's not like they have any special skills for that.

[–] NinjaGinga@hexbear.net 2 points 1 year ago

From what I understand, it's not so much their skills as an informant/agent provocateur that's appealing, as having them firmly in the pocket of the alphabet agencies. Knowing your handler can single handedly ruin your life (as credible allegations of paedophilia probably would) is one hell of an incentive to stay on their good side and do their bidding, as a matter of self-preservation. Knowing your agent is likely not gonna flip (like a lot of CIA/FBI did in the early Cold War) helps too.

[–] RyanGosling@hexbear.net 1 points 1 year ago

Some may have desirable traits that doesn’t necessarily involve skill. And this goes for any criminal with a potentially hefty sentence.

For example, cartel drug dealers get turned because they may face extradition and are close with king pins. Some hackers or businessmen may be unremarkable but they control important illicit marketplaces which could net more gains for Feds. Pedos may be good at manipulation or simply have the means to procure children to compromise other targets. The BLM infiltrator the in my OP lied about ever serving in militias and fighting against ISIS. He was just a grimy, loud, violent asshole whose presence was intoxicating to the activists.

Regardless, the usual commonality between all of them is that their lives could be ruined, deservingly or not.

They talk a big game about the Non Aggression Principle, and then insist on eliminating any societal guardrails against them committing agression

[–] Futterbinger@hexbear.net 35 points 1 year ago

That's a whole lot of words to say "The only composer I can name is Wagner."

I wish most reactionaries would be as open as this so I know who to avoid and/or who to beat to death with a stick

normally i don't think it's worth the effort to snitch on people to their employers for posting, but in this case i think it would be really really really funny

Love that he specifies black jazz. Leaving the door open for Kenny G
