I know it's not news, but something about "masks on except for official photos" just really gets to me. Something about how serious they take covid when the cameras contrasted with the public "everything's fine, whatvid-19 is ~~over~~ just a cold, don't worry about it" messaging.

Edit: just saw 2021, I've adjusted accordingly but the point still stands
