I've seen some folks say that some lemmy apps let you block entire instances, which i suppose means you could block every instance we've federated with. the problem is at this point it seems like other instances and federation are the only things we're really talking about anymore.

This script lets you block comments from an instance, although it's a block list not an allow list, so you'll have to grab the list of instances from hexbear.net/instances and add whatever ones you want to block.
YearOfTheCommieDesktop wrote a script for violentmonkey that automatically collapses comments from instances not hexbear or lemmygrad.
