I was just listening to a few tracks from Lead Into Gold, which is Paul Barkerโs latest gig. Smooth stuff with those drums you want.

You might like a lot of the bands that fall under the Futurepop label. There are a lot of bands in the genre but few that come to mind based on what you said: VNV Nation, Apoptygma Berserk, Colony 5, Edge of Dawn.
