They're "donating" this to Donald Trump to keep personally, not the Trump Administration. Just more flagrant corruption.

Yup, this is getting donated to his presidential library after he gets out (rather, it's supposed to).

That being said, what's the listening devices per square foot on this?

[–] Carvex@lemmy.world 12 points 1 week ago (3 children)

Loaded, but none of them at asshole height, there's too much noise interference

[–] ToastedRavioli@midwest.social 11 points 1 week ago

Asshole height to me is whatever altitude this thing is cruising at

[–] cdf12345@lemm.ee 4 points 1 week ago

But that’s all of the heights ?

[–] resipsaloquitur@lemm.ee 2 points 1 week ago

~~asshole~~ diaper height.

FTFY.

Roughly 2x remote disabling devices.

What is this Presidential Library? I've never heard of it.

I could be wrong, but this seems problematic...

After how many billions spent to overhaul the current AF1?

In other, other news:

Chances they actually sweep this thing for bugs? Audio taps? Listening devices? Flight logs/data that somehow transmit to an unknown source for unknown reasons?

I'm going with 40% chance they try to do a bug sweep, 15% chance they do it competently.

EDIT: Also it would be immensely hilarious if they just included either a bomb or a fatal flight instability inducing kill switch into the thing.

Boeing has shown us you can do roughly the latter apparently unintentionally, I'm sure you could also do it intentionally.

Absolutely at least a few kill switches.

Cool. Now wait until it's loaded with Agent Orange, and shoot it down.
