Not a fan of enbies always getting the bi treatment by being seen as less committal/just a step in the journey, but I like the general premise lol

yeah i get that. it is definitely part of a broader trend that sucks

my ass literally went through this exact sequence. shortest phrase was he/they at like half a week lmao

Oh no, I'm trapped in the second "no pronouns in bio" phase.

[–] StellarExtract@lemm.ee 13 points 2 years ago (1 children)

What stage is no pronouns in bio because I don't want to explicitly tell people to use he/him even though that's what I use day-to-day because that would feel like a defeat somehow, but I also don't want to tell anyone to use any other pronouns because I'm not 100% sure whether I actually want them to and it would also out me to everyone as considering it?

The best way to make sure whether you want other pronouns is to try them out, and there's ways to try that safely and without outing yourself to anybody irl. If you want to play it safe, you can just make new accounts for that, lurk in trans spaces for a bit, people there are usually very affirming to each other.

Add another step and it's a communist and the pronouns are in your name instead of bio now.

I like that there's two "no pronouns in bio" phases. I've been there.

I hate this cause i have the same hair and have been contemplating skipping step 2 to to to step 3 lol

i always encourage everyone to try out pronouns if they're thinking about it, and i tend to stick to they/them for anyone with no pronouns listed or undecided anyway
