PzH 2000 should have been named (Zer-)Schmetterling, butterfly/obliterator.

The animals seem fairly normal cartoon versions except for the rhino. It is extra and included *thrice.

Also 3 turtles and a couple of chickens.

They reskinned the parrot too.

What about Germany in WW2, and all their consonants and periods?

[–] belastend@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 1 week ago

Those are abbreviations, just like AR-15.

Interesting but weird article. Weirdly structured.

The flowery language in an otherwise factual article seems to be an Indian thing that is mildly confusing to me but sure.

Did I know that the "TIGER" is named after a predator? I suppose I figured???

The origin of the German word "Panzer" is interesting. Here's some random stuff about Greek mythology. Now let me explain that Panzer thing.

Russians usually name their stuff with funny names, probably a tradition since "Katyusha".

Recently watched an interview with a Russian drone maker, and he said Russian MOD told him to rename his drone model because it's name sounded too aggressive.
