[–] canajac@lemmy.ca 1 points 5 hours ago

How long do we have to keep on reading dementia Don's dumbass ramblings?

[–] TronBronson@lemmy.world 3 points 7 hours ago* (last edited 7 hours ago) (1 children)

What a shitty article. Not once did they cite the source material with a hyper link. Why on earth would I share this article with someone when it has no source? Why would you share this article with us when the author didn’t feel he needed to source the content he wrote about?

[–] A7thStone@lemmy.world 2 points 7 hours ago

The article links a source that links directly to NPSM-7 on the white house website.

[–] TronBronson@lemmy.world 3 points 7 hours ago

Finally we can throw the whole admin in jail for being commies?

[–] Capricorn_Geriatric@lemmy.world 19 points 12 hours ago (3 children)

What even is a "pre-crime" and since when does it exist?

[–] canajac@lemmy.ca 1 points 4 hours ago* (last edited 4 hours ago)

It's a crime that exists only in an alternate factual world. 😶

When he looks at his daughter, that's a pre-crime.

[–] PeacefulForest@lemmy.world 17 points 10 hours ago

Thought crimes

[–] Knock_Knock_Lemmy_In@lemmy.world 15 points 11 hours ago

By asking this question you have committed it.

[–] Rcklsabndn@sh.itjust.works 4 points 8 hours ago

Grandpa wants to change his diaper before it's been shit.

[–] FreeMindFreeAss@lemmy.world 6 points 10 hours ago

The emperor has no clothes, and the frogs are starting to notice that maybe the water is a little hotter than it's worth.

[–] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 2 points 8 hours ago (2 children)

Next up...all non-Christians must become Christians. Epstein who?

[–] TronBronson@lemmy.world 2 points 7 hours ago

I’m a non Christian that’s a better Christian than the Christian’s. Who gives a fuck about the Epstein list anymore they don’t need to be tried for any specific crimes. We can just punish them. Maybe we just stop caring about the epstien files and gos after everyone who was already released. Throw them in jail to rot without trial. I think it’s time to start using the administration laws against it.

[–] TronBronson@lemmy.world 0 points 7 hours ago* (last edited 7 hours ago) (1 children)

God never believed in the laws of man anyway: a good Christian can punish a pedo like they did interracial marriages in the 1920s

[–] canajac@lemmy.ca 1 points 5 hours ago

WTF did you just say? There are no 'good' christians, only delusional ones.

[–] lemmyviking@lemmy.world 31 points 1 day ago (1 children)

How does he get punished? He's the most anti-capitalist I know! I mean Free Trade and Open Borders is a Capitalist Theory!! He's anti-free trade, close all the borders! I really don't understand hate politicians.

[–] andallthat@lemmy.world 6 points 9 hours ago

Legal loophole: it's not anti-capitalistic if you are just stupid

[–] b161@lemmy.blahaj.zone 30 points 1 day ago (1 children)

If you don’t be a slave for billionaires you’re a tewwowist. That’s fweedom.

[–] Rcklsabndn@sh.itjust.works 6 points 8 hours ago* (last edited 8 hours ago)

Oh no, dont thweton me. :3

[–] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.dbzer0.com 98 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (3 children)

In this real-world case, the “indicia” (indicators) of future political violence listed in the report are:

  • anti-Americanism,
  • anti-capitalism,
  • anti-Christianity,
  • support for the overthrow of the United States Government,
  • extremism on migration,
  • extremism on race,
  • extremism on gender
  • hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on family,
  • hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on religion, and
  • hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on morality.

Given that the fascist administration defines "extremism" on migration, race, and gender to basically be the absence of bigotry and the presence of rationality, those are ALL positive viewpoints possessed by most of the sane and reasonable people in the world.

[–] MonkeMischief@lemmy.today 10 points 12 hours ago* (last edited 12 hours ago) (2 children)

anti-Christianity

Amusing how much being a true follower would contradict the first two "indicators."

Swearing no oaths (of allegiance), to a flag (an idol), not rejoicing in the deaths of others and eschewing violence, not coveting and constantly lusting after what you don't have. Treating even one's enemies with love...I could go on.

The real Christians are going to be hated and punished heavily and brutally by this regime. Caesar nor Herod were on the side of Christ and His followers, why would these twisted, evil fools be any different?

Time to radicalize, brothers and sisters.

[–] chiliedogg@lemmy.world 9 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

Christ only threatened Hell one time, in Matthew 25. He says people will be damned for the following reasons:

  1. Not feeding the hungry
  2. Not welcoming foreigners
  3. Not caring for the sick
  4. Not showing compassion to the imprisoned

How is the GOP the party of Christ again?

[–] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.dbzer0.com 6 points 12 hours ago

And the only time he got so pissed off that he started whipping some fools was when the moneychangers were profiting from religion like pretty much everyone in the fascist GOP are now.

[–] ZILtoid1991@lemmy.world 2 points 10 hours ago

I have a feeling, that "anti-christianity" will be interpreted in the "if you don't convert once you've heard of christianity, you're anti-christian". They cherry pick the worst parts of the Bible, not the best parts.

[–] tourist@lemmy.world 51 points 1 day ago

Yeah this just straight up designates every human (and some animals probably) as terrorists

we want to put migrants in prisons surrounded by alligators

not extremist

we don't want that

violently extremist stance on migration, pre-crimed in my jorts

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 7 points 1 day ago

The short version is that they want to kill everyone who knows more than they do, and that's most of us.

[–] TheMinister@sh.itjust.works 106 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (3 children)

Wow we moved from the “first they came for the…” to “and then they came for me” in 60 seconds flat.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 15 points 1 day ago

The lesson of history, which we ignored, is to first come for the fascists.

Then we don't have to see that fucking copypasta everywhere.

[–] missfrizzle@discuss.tchncs.de 23 points 1 day ago (4 children)

and here I thought the radical left were the ones into speedrunning!

Americans need to get organized and get their shit together FAST. What's left of their democracy is disappearing daily.

[–] echodot@feddit.uk 8 points 1 day ago

It's ironic that the country with the most guns per citizen is the country least likely to defend its democracy with those guns.

[–] Medic8teMe@lemmy.ca 13 points 1 day ago

Their democracy has been gone for a while. They're just getting around to noticing now.

[–] uberdroog@lemmy.world 75 points 2 days ago (1 children)

He has precrime in his pants

[–] ExtremeDullard@piefed.social 39 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I think it's very much post-crime at this point.

Crime before crime? So not a crime? Is raping children a post crime. Asking for a friend?

[–] slaneesh_is_right@lemmy.org 8 points 1 day ago

Raping children is soon to be legal and then they drop the Epstein files. See, nothing weird going on in there. Just the thing we all enjoy

[–] echodot@feddit.uk 5 points 1 day ago

If you're wearing the right coloured hat it's virtually impossible to commit any kind of crime at all.

[–] zarathustra0@lemmy.world 39 points 2 days ago (3 children)

If everyone is guilty of crimes against the state, no one is guilty of crimes against the state.

[–] Cocodapuf@lemmy.world 25 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

That's really not how that works.

It's really more like... If everyone is guilty of crimes against the state, then anyone can be imprisoned at any time.

(All at the discretion of those in charge.) This is really a much worse situation for everyone.

[–] zarathustra0@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

That’s really not how that works.

I expect you're quite worried about this situation but try not to be so dismissive of others, please.

Yes, in a very real sense it means that the Government can target their enemies with impunity. But in another very real sense it suddenly throws everyone over the barrier of having committed a 'crime' and may well remove any moral or ethical barrier one might feel in opposing the regime.

[–] Cocodapuf@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

I expect you're quite worried about this situation but try not to be so dismissive of others, please.

That's fair, I can see how starting my comment like that must have been really annoying. Sorry for that.

I wish soooooo deeply that a Trump Gestapo is reading all my anti capitalist and anti organized religious comments. I'm so out and proud it'll be great.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 3 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

And Trump's idea of capitalism is assigning a single-sourced contract to a crony.

That is, to the extent that dim-bulb Trump could ever be said to have an idea.

[–] Blade9732@lemmy.world 17 points 2 days ago

Oh my God, did somebody let him watch Minority Report? His grasp on reality is, shall we say, not strong.
