Black cats are good luck actually.

My black cat walks in front of me 100 times a day...I wuv him.

[–] architectonas@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

Those claws look deadly. I could never have a cat. I fear them.

[–] village604@adultswim.fan 9 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Ours does the same, and it's only unlucky for her because I have poor low light vision and she gets kicked on accident a lot.

[–] echodot@feddit.uk 3 points 2 days ago

Then they go hide under the table and stare accusingly at you for 20 minutes. When you try to stroke them to apologise they flinch away.

So overly dramatic.

I love how you captured your cat's chaotic energy in this picture. I love them little voids

[–] MehBlah@lemmy.world 5 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Looks like he is staring at the spot. My cat has a spot he stares at. Nothing there but he is still staring at it all the time.

the walls have eyes

How dare she discriminate against such a fluffy wuffy little guy

What if i want to be that little guy?

[–] PunnyName@lemmy.world 33 points 3 days ago (2 children)

Right?

Several years back, when I was trying college for the 3rd time, on Halloween night, I was heading back to my bike at the bike rack to find a black cat sitting on my seat. It ran off as I approached, as usual, but I thanked it for protecting my transportation, and had a grin on my face for the 10 minute ride back home.

If a curse is the price to pay for him, he’s worth it to me.

Our Philly Cheesesteak too.

Here's Bolita!!

(My wife's terrible with names) Bolita often does that loopy thing with her tail. We should have named her Donita (little donnut) instead.

Bolita

our black cat once ran under the ladder of a bunk bed, crashed into a mirror leaning against the wall, causing it to fall against a shelf and knock a salt shaker off (we were in college, gotta keep your food stuff in your room and whatnot). The mirror crashed to the floor and broke. We didn't believe in curses and that fully cemented that belief for us.

I literally can’t tell if this is bone hurting juice.

[–] Gaja0@lemmy.zip 7 points 2 days ago (1 children)

They don't do that anymore after... the incident

[–] cdf12345@lemmy.zip 5 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Wait, what incident. I’ve been off reddit for so long now and didn’t pick up bone hurting juice on Lemmy. What did I miss?

[–] Gaja0@lemmy.zip 9 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Pizzacake posted a comic. What if guys were sexually harrasssed? Top comment is a male survivor addressing insensitive tone of the comic. They get banned and the entire thread is nuked and locked.

BHJ has a field day poking fun at her insecurity and simp mods overreaction. She does not like this. This is where Karen starts to come out. She demands mods take down negative posts. They reply asking for examples violating terms so they can help remove hateful content.

She threatens DMCA takedowns against them. They add a rule banning her comics and decide to go public with DMs exchanged with her. It's a bannable offense to even mention her or attempt to circumvent this. She's absolutely insufferable.

HAD seems about right. It’s sad to see Mastodon accounts just getting abandoned

[–] mesamunefire@piefed.social 15 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago) (8 children)

I get it, its hard to keep up a social media. But it would have been nice cause I would loveto contact her with a @Pizzacake@mastodon.social or something. Shes one of my favorite comic creators.

[–] slaneesh_is_right@lemmy.org 3 points 2 days ago

That's like hearing someone saying Uwe Boll is their favourite filmmaker. Quite unique

She’s the problem.

[–] adhocfungus@midwest.social 16 points 3 days ago (2 children)

I read that in the voice of the black cat from Ghost Stories.

[–] ouRKaoS@lemmy.today 13 points 3 days ago (2 children)

I heard Salem from Sabrina the teenage witch. Pretty much in character, too.
