Post TextI am told I am an autonomous human being, in charge of my own destiny, a free man, but every single time Hasan Piker has said something and I have heard about it, it has been against my will

Hasan has his place, to me he is the left-wing Joe Rogan, someone who has decent appeal with terminally online people and more broadly among people disillusioned or bored with regular news.

The right-wing online ecosystem is more than just one monolithic faction. Be they MAGA loonies, religious fundies, techbro simps, economic acolytes, etc. etc. That variously align and lead into one another.

Hopefully people here can understand the concept of solidarity, you don't have to love or hate him, just allow him to cultivate the audience and then discuss the differences with his followers where you think he can improve. I found out one of my close friends watched Hasan a lot, which was shocking to me since he hasn't come off to me as a person with particularly strong political views. I find him annoying to listen to for long periods of time, but it's a bro-coded way of teaching people empathy so I think he's worth having around.

He's the leftist Candice Owens or steven crowder. He isnt "bro coded" in a way that appeals to men like Rogan. He has no hobbies which give him any reach to non political people he doesnt seem like someone who could hangout with a normal person. .

T Someone is giving attention to a niche streamer. I don't get it, it's like Joe rogan. After he got his spotify deal. Clearly, someone hasn't heard of the Streisand effect

This is a really bad take

I don't get the hasan hate. Yeah he can be annoying at times but there are SO many more problematic people out there.

But no one hates the left like the left hates itself.

The right love him because hes such a useful asset for them. That only leaves the left to hate him and its pretty fair, he spends majority of his time attacking them.

I try not to think about Hasan, but he comes across as the next Maher. He's more right then wrong for the time being, but eventually he'll get stuck on some issue and refuse to budge.

I don't hate him. I hate the omnipresence he has on some social media. I use YouTube a lot and I watched some of his videos before, but it's not for me. I'm not interested. But YouTube keeps suggesting his videos to me. So I blocked his channel. But he also has a few other channels, or people reacting or condensing his videos, and even when I thought I blocked them all, some other new channel with his face eventually gets in my suggestions. It's like playing whack-a-mole.

It's not "The Left" hating "The Left" it's Communists and Liberals hating each other.

Yes people talk about things that you don't know about.
