It's the dunk tank.

This is where you come to post big-brained hot takes by chuds, libs, or even fellow leftists, and tear them to itty-bitty pieces with precision dunkstrikes.

Rule 1: All posts must include links to the subject matter, and no identifying information should be redacted.

Rule 2: If your source is a reactionary website, please use archive.is instead of linking directly.

Rule 3: No sectarianism.

Rule 4: TERF/SWERFs Not Welcome

Rule 5: No ableism of any kind (that includes stuff like libt*rd)

Rule 6: Do not post fellow hexbears.

Rule 7: Do not individually target other instances' admins or moderators.

Rule 8: The subject of a post cannot be low hanging fruit, that is comments/posts made by a private person that have low amount of upvotes/likes/views. Comments/Posts made on other instances that are accessible from hexbear are an exception to this. Posts that do not meet this requirement can be posted to !shitreactionariessay@lemmygrad.ml

Rule 9: if you post ironic rage bait im going to make a personal visit to your house to make sure you never make this mistake again

Truly the FDR of our times

[–] Knoq@hexbear.net 13 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Yeah! Much like FDR, he's giving minor concessions to the workers, with the permission of the bourgeois of course, and making sure that won't revolt too much! whoo!

[–] SacredExcrement@hexbear.net 33 points 2 years ago

He's not even doing that tho

Hasn't he been condoning strike breaking, he rolled back on his word vis a vis covid aid, college loan forgiveness...

What minor concessions has he even given besides this right here saying 'pwease don't step on the workers' lol

[–] RyanGosling@hexbear.net 16 points 2 years ago

He hasn’t given me anything, except 20% of my $2000 check

[–] improbably_me@lemm.ee 35 points 2 years ago

If they continue, I'll have more strong words about such behavior from the corporations. They have no choice in this matter.

[–] CrimsonSage@hexbear.net 35 points 2 years ago

Are you taking any executive action? Passing legislation? No? Well then you have done nothing.

xigma-male You will call your boss. You will tell him that plans have changed. You will tell him that we’re going to keep lowering the price of this medicine. Why? Because I don’t like the number. You have five minutes.

biden-alert L-listen up, fat. You can’t just sell critical products at high prices. It ain’t right!

[–] Tankiedesantski@hexbear.net 9 points 2 years ago

putin-wink You will sign this contract to keep this factory open and these workers employed. I don't care if you say you've signed it, I'm going to watch you sign it again on camera.

Oh, and give me back my pen.

The rent is still too damn high

[–] Kaplya@hexbear.net 19 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

Rent is high because landlords are buying up properties with high mortgage rates so rent goes into supplementing that. This is how wealth flows to the very top 1%.

[–] CloutAtlas@hexbear.net 21 points 2 years ago

Biden towards unions trying to strike for a singular sick day per year: Strike? Do it and I'll personally imprison every single one of you, baka

Biden towards corporations price gouging during record profits: Maybe possibly consider not doing that, I understand if you say no desu 👉 👈

Tangent: Tsundere Biden emoticon when?
