I Am The Highway by Audioslave.

RHCP has a lot of great cruising songs too. Some great ones by Stone Temple Pilots as well. Really, I've got cruising playlists, but if I have to choose just one track, it's definitely I Am The Highway.

Been a while since I binged some audioslave... Too long. That needs to change soon.

Lost, by Linkin Park. It’s such a hype song, beautiful, sad, relatable, it’s really an incredible gift Chester left us.

RIP you beautiful man, the world misses you more than you could ever know.

Which anime is this ?

[–] ME5SENGER_24@lemmy.world 4 points 2 years ago

It’s either Radar Love by Golden Earring or LA Woman/Roadhouse Blues by the Doors

i guess my age will show a bit here, but it's public radio that's on whenever i'm in the car. when there's kids along, though, it's usually soundtracks to their movies (yea, those. and i don't really mind--i like 'em too)

Ehh, I don't consider myself that old (35), but for me too. I actually like when the host speaks sometimes, that there are people phoning in, news in every hour, and fresh hits I don't know about yet.

Probably Cem Kılıç - Nasıl Bir İnsansın: [YouTube][Piped Video]

Although I don't drive, nor I plan to do so as long as public transport remains usable. This one just immediately connects with bus in my head because I first heard it in Bus Simulator: Ultimate. It's pretty good (the song).

Otherwise it would be Little Richard - Lucille: [YouTube][Piped Video] because it reminds me of riding a bicycle with dad and listening to this song on his Sony Ericsson W200i with MPS-70 external speakers.

Dreams-Fleetwood Mac, if I throw on a playlist with shuffle and I get this first, I know it's gonna be a good day

[–] PP_BOY_@lemmy.world 0 points 2 years ago

I think a good driving song should be light, energetic, happy, and remind me of summer. It's way too hard to pick just one track but any song off the album Love it Love it by Nana Grizol is always a good one.
